So here's the beginning of the project. I want to make a G1 Cybertron Jazz out. I'm starting with Animated because I love the look of the alt mode, but I'm using the head and hands from RTS. The face will be painted steel, just wanted to show how I bought a RTS Jazz that came without paint on the face.
He still transforms just fine.




quick update: Realized you can't really see too well without paint on his face, so I did that, and figured out a hood mod from an old model kit. Right now it's just taped on until I get it filed a little more. Next up is the tail fin.

Dusted this project off and started back in on it. Here's the beginning of the tail. I'm using animated arcee parts and styrene

 

With the blue front and huge spoiler it kind of reminds me of

 

That's the idea! I'm trying to decide if I should cut off the side mirrors.

I think the side mirrors are too animated. Id remove them

 

Kinda want to get this fig and turn it into a crossover custom since the alt mode looks so much like the old Aston Martin from Bond.

 

You could transplant them to be attached to the back like rocket boosters

 

Maybe paint them up as missile launchers?
