When I was a kid the only transformers videos I had were starscream's brigade and the movie.

Both have jazz and cliffjumper paired up, I didn't really see them ever paired up again or ever referenced in IDW.

Was it just a huge coincidence that I had the only episodes they were paired up or did anyone else have the same thoughts?

 

I think that Jazz and Cliffjumper were paired up in Fall of Cybertron.

It's pretty weird how they've just disappeared from recent media. Well I mean, Cliffjumper hasn't, but he's just been used as shock mostly. Shame.

 

Maybe the writers did this because both characters change into Porsches? (The original toys did, at any rate.)

 

I don't know about that. Jazz was in Animated and RID2015, and he's got a toy in the Cyberverse line coming up, so he might well appear. Cliffjumper... yeah, he's been an opening kill guy outside of Fall of Cybertron.

 

I wanna see more of the pairing!

This is coming from a person who dislikes characters in wired pairings. Looking at you James Roberts.

 

A script written by the Associate Producer of the show, after the movie plot had been locked in. Coincidence? Methinks not.
