how's the quality bcuz Jazzwares weren't good at all with the wrestling figures, or the MK license, or well any license prior to this, so this could be their first quality and positive license

Granted I’ve only had my hands on this one figure for a couple hours...I am impressed so far. Compared to NECA, ML and SW BS figures, he is less “gummy” and more posable...accessories are more solid as well. Time will tell, I guess...might open a couple more before throwing them to the wolves (nephews). The articulation is on another level compared to other $20 6” figures.

ok sounds good so far, what i'd say is the best part of the McFarlane Fortnite figures is their construction is horrible but extra awesome for the ability to customize is easy and more possible than anything i've ever dealt with. I watched a review where a guy called them trash bcuz he could pop out the shoulder and it was at that point I knew they'd be mine. I took Dire lower legs, neck, head, arms all the way to the shoulders and put them on the body of Havok

The custom is made to emulate my Dad's moniker in the army "Bad Dawg" and Cheetah here as the perfect emulation of my mom "Cat" bcuz people are to lazy to say Cathy and she loved Cheetara from the Thundercats. So all in all it worked out nicely, will def be putting these McF FN figures to use

I’ve had some bad luck with McFarlane figures and generally tend to avoid them (super gummy plastics that just come apart, sloppy joints, etc.). I do realize I may have gotten some bum figures, though. And, I do tend to like their sculpts.

At $10 each and having never owned a Jazwares product, I figured these might be worth a shot.

All three together. Overall Mcfarlane is decent, but Jazewars is the better of the two.

Oh man, am I in trouble.
First of all, I know nothing about Fortnite, nor do I have any interest in learning about the game.
But Robo's Fwoosh videos on youtube endeared Beef Boss to me enough that when I saw him at Walmart the other day, I told myself, "I'm not buying Beef Boss. I don't need to start another collection line."
And then I saw him again, and I said, "I'm buying ML Warpath and Sunspot instead."
And then the third time, I said, "FINE. I will buy you, mother f*cker [in Robo's Beef Boss voice]."

    OMFG, he's great.
    IMG_6861.jpg
    He murders cake.

So of course, that led to me picking up Tomato Head on sale.
    IMG_6862.jpg

...and then I saw a 4" Beef Boss at Target so I needed that one because he can ride in vehicles
    IMG_6867.jpg

And with three Fishsticks, P-1000, and Doggo on pre-order, I've quickly matched my burgeoning GI Joe Classified collection.
Pretty sure that Beef Boss will get along famously with PD Destro once he arrives. Fishsticks are clearly the grunt soldiers of Leviathan, whom I must also buy later. Is it too late to find Peely?

These guys are so crazy looking that I can't help but heart them so much.
Damnit. What am I going to cut out of my life to make more room for these?

Totally enjoying the 4" line when I can get them dirt cheap at Ross.
I did splurge on the puppy, though.

Ross has had an assortment of the Jazzwares 6" and the McFarlane 7" figs up pretty cheap. I know nothing of Fortnite, but picked up a few of the more interesting specimens. The super cool character designs are stunning. These are by far the best figures McFarlane has ever produced. The articulation is actually decent for McFarlane, and while the joints are worryingly stiff I haven't encountered any breakage. Considering I normally view McFarlane as "inaction Figures" this is a refreshing change. But with that said, they are good in comparison to other McFarlane toys. The Jazzware's figures are sooo much better. Everything in the McFarlane seem to be made of PVC. So the weapons are warped. The backpacks don't peg in all the way and stick out 1/4" etc. Whereas the Jazzware's are amazing for the price. There is some ABS used in places for things like weapons. The articulation is amazing and lands somewhere between Hasbro's better stuff and the Japanese imports. Some of them even have some finger articulation (the fingers are a single hinged piece, but it lets you open the hand, insert weapon, close hand. Whereas for some McFarlanes I can see the hands will break the first time I try and shove in a weapon). And dear lord many of the Jazzware figures have extra hands and multiple face plates. I can't remember when I last saw that on a western action figure!

The McFarlane's are the hiddeous and annoying McFarlane 7" scale which makes them slightly oversized with almost anything else. The Jazzware's are 6", true 1/12 or 1 inch scale. Lot's of available stuff to pose and photograph with them. There is a rather nice McFarlane set that comes with a gorgeous metal shopping cart. Worth it for that alone at Ross's discount prices.

Also worth noting Ross also has a ton of the Hasbro Overwatch figs. Side by side with the Jazzware's they look kinda like hot garbage. Probably Hasbro's worst 6" figs in years. At this point I am anxiously looking forward to see what else Jazzware's can do? (DC Why did you go with McFarlane!?!?!)

Of the figures I grabbed I think my favorite McFarlane's are Ragnarok and the Prisoner who have that great comic book/game boss look and feel. My favorites of the Jazzware's are Valkyie and Raven. With bonus points of zaniness to Tomatohead and Beef Boss

I might be a gay fish... but I've finally cobbled together enough figures to tell the Saga of Leviathan in a single mural-style format.

Having three separate scales for this property has its advantages.
Also, I heart Fishsticks. He has so much character between his three interchangeable faces. I just wish that you could easily pop off his head and stick it on other Fortnite bodies to flesh out an even bigger/more diverse fish army.

4" Fortnite now have effect pieces starting with the Gold Flopper weapons packs. The weapons are vac-gold, too, which is neat.
Umbrella + gold weapon + backbling + effects piece for $4.

Like others have mentioned, I've gotten a number of FN figures from Ross (7" scale, 6" scale and 3.75"-4" scales); but in addition to the price (which I've found to occasionally be even a dollar cheaper at DDs), it was their included accessories that served as a selling point... and with the gi joe classified and retro lines, some of these were quite useful for standins (e.g. firefly, lifeline, cobra kai Halloween costumes, etc.).

Recently picked up this set for 70% at a target:
    20210121_185859.jpg
While this ends up being ~$2.50/figure after tax, I was disappointed there no weapons in the set, eventhough glancing at the rolled up map area seemed like weapons might've been housed there. At least a couple of these figures reminded me of M.A.S.K. aesthetics.
