Why would they call Optimus Prime, Convoy?

 

No That is the Japaneses Name for Bulkhead.

Some of these translations are quite...  Not some, ALL.

 

First some Japaness dubs has change of a Charather's Gender (BW Airazor & Cybertron Overide in a USA their Female, but in Japan their Male.) Other times their vocining into weird sound (Bw DC went from Batman to Roger Dangerfeild.)

 

I was not aware that animated had been released in Japan.
