The sad part about then bringing this state side is that they'll use the same crappy flame paint apps from the rotf figure... I wish they would freaking use the right flame patterns already!! >.<!!!!

I still am happy I bought Jetwing, but this one looks great too. I really like the darker colors. Plus, truck mode looks awesome.

 

He looks really good, and I really wish I can get him. The price is really steep though, even considering Japanese prices. I might have to consider before taking the plunge.

 

I say this a lot, but let me just add:

I think many here are unaware of how heavily subsidised American toy prices are, and how heavily Hasbro are tied to the price point system, as opposed to Takara.

...And that is why there is no way you'll be picking the exact same toy up for $40-45 SRP at your local Walmart.

I didn't say no Hasbro release full stop. But price or deco, something will have to give for this to get a Hasbro release.

This is exactly the kind of figure I've been waiting for as a movie Prime. I really hope the figure mold, at least, gets a stateside release even if we don't get the shield 'n' all (though that'd be nice too).

I just love how Hasbro thinks they were being innovative with Ultimate Optimus Prime when in reality it is an Ultimate Piece of Shit. I understand they were simply trying to offer us fans something new instead of just repaints, but it seems that Takara is making bank because of repaints and add-ons. Amazing.

Maybe Hasbro should just make a gift set that has these weapons, and the jet pack from the other prime figure. Chances are us fans will be much happier and most of us already own the ROTF prime figure.
