Finally, we can know what will the New Optimus Prime Looks like,

but in the Magazine, at least we can see, the Optimus Prime have new gun and a shield...and looks like the Main BOdy just the Leader Class Optimus Prime again? Or some little bit mod??? anyway...it said the weapon can be transform by just 1 click. but how about the shield??? How about the Sword??? Well....will Hasbro get this also? Hope it will...

 

The shield forms the stealth mode for Prime in vehicle mode

 

The gun looks nice! Not sure about the shield. Looks decent.

 

Think that i'm going to have to cave and get this since it's impossible to get Buster, and this looks to be as good, if not better than him.

Looks way more like heavy photoshoped colored plastic than paint to me. Big let down.  

 

If the picture is representative of the actual product, I like it a lot.

Darker red & blue and nice gunmetal detailing.

 

If that thing still comes with the rotf gun it's sold

 

Picture looks pretty heavily photoshopped to me, guessing the red and blue will look the same as on the original ROTF figure.
Grey parts might be painted like Buster, gonna have to wait and see.
Too bad they decided to keep he toe point thingie red again though, looks funny.

Curious to see the stealth mode.

 

Yeah, this is disappointing. After all these retries, and Buster is still the best looking version produced. I guess I'm glad I didn't pre-order this one after all.

With all the Leader Class Primes Takara and Hasbro have done since, all I ever really wanted was for them to re-release Buster so I could get one. The newer Leader Class Prime releases look like a joke in comparison, beginning with the lack of pinstriping, fewer paint apps, and cheap plastic grays instead of silver and chrome. Never mind the weathering on the Buster gun which has been absent on later releases.

Each time they announce a new Leader Class Prime is coming, I hope against hope for something that will live up to Buster Prime. This one doesn't even look as good in the promo picture, so in-hand is probably going to be even more disappointing.

I could happily do without the shield thing if it meant they could bring back the pinstriping. I hate to think of the things I passed on buying when I had the chance so that I could have money set aside for this. Oh well. Maybe the Transformers 4 Movie Leader Class Optimus Prime will be better...

 

My thoughts, too. Looks very much like it forms the grill and a new 'cover' along the top of the bonnet (hood for my US cousins! ;P )

 

If his paint is anything like buster prime's I'll get this in a heart beat

 

Need to see this stealth force mode first.

 

Any chance if you can tell us if he is painted like he looks in the photo or is he going to be game workshop grey like Jetwing prime?
