Ya know, I’ve been liking a lot about the Siege line- except for Ironhide. You wouldn’t think it’d be so hard to make an Ironhide.
Really hoping those hollow spots on Ironhide aren’t needed for the transformation and that simple fillers will get rid of them.
Has anybody taken a crack at digi-bashing how Generations/Legends Metroplex will look in possession of Sixgun?
I'm extremely curious about both robot and city modes. I've long since parted with my Generations Metroplex, but despite his strengths couldn't get over how incomplete the city felt without Sixgun to create additional turrets & the radar array. Of course, I also wanted him armed to the teeth in robot mode!
My main concern is how Metroplex holds his weapons--he's got that strange almost macro-masterpiece-style where an extruded piece fromt he hilt/handle needs to toggle into his palm. If Sixgun is just made to be universally compatible with 6mm ports, then perhaps Metro will only be able to wear and not wield these weapons?
I'd be curious to learn if this mystery has been discussed already and solved--if so can somebody point me to the thread where such a discussion took place?
Silly Billy, That’s what the battle damage is for!
One of the Siege figures I was excited for the most, and extatic about not not having any gaping hollow parts (from everything I saw), is the hollowest one I’ve seen... I’m feeling pretty lied to.
I really want to like that Starscream, but the overly detailed sculpt is a bit too much
Jesus. Imagine what Hasbro/Takara could do with some of these molds if they didn't waste resources on pointless panel lines.
@knoted Looks like you'll have to whip something up for the back of Ironhide's arms in the near future.
Why does this Starscream look way better in just prototype grey?
Can you please explain to the class how panel lines/lack of affect how much these cost to make?
I was talking less about cost and more about how they wouldn't look like over-detailed shit.
I'd rather have flat panels with a few stickers. (Not the TR kind)
Partially are. Looks like they peg together. Otherwise it doesn't look like the empty space matters much. So long as fillers don't block the pegs, should be fine.
So like early Megazords? Nah, just kidding. I do like the attention to detail but on some of them it's just plain distracting. Prototype grey makes them pop a lot, too.
So, SixGun can turn into the ThunderCats Feliner?
Nice! I knew that looked familiar but couldn't place it.
"i prefer to pay 20$ if there's less hollows spots"
At least the cassettes and Sixgun are clean, thank Primus. Guess not everything from Siege will be skipped.
