Japanese rescue mecha - with video

    The site's in japanese, but the pictures, and the source of the link suggest it's some sort of new japanese mecha designed for aiding in roadside emergencies. It seemed to lift that car pretty easily, so I'm assuming that's the kind of stuff it was designed for.

    The videos are scattered throughout the image links farther down the page, but have avi and wmv listed in the link descriptions

    Also, this is remote controlled it appears, not sentient, but it is a step in the right direction I'd say

    I don't think so...
    But it does have a fugly paint scheme, so there should be a hasbro sticker somewhere on there...

    Agreed. Imagine them expecting a Humvee or a tank and a 30 ft tall super armored mecha walks down the street. That would scare the crap out of anyone..
