The Fansproject guys are allegedly across the globe. I was under the assumption that Maketoys was based in Japan because of their website.

Maketoys is really the only group tied to Japan, and why Upgrade Commander usually gets first dibs on preorders. The rest use Japanese on their boxes because Fansproject used it first on WarBot Defender, and it looked cool. Seriously.

Who cares?...........................as long as they make quality products. Of course there will be those clunkers of quality and many editions but I usually purchase from the most consistently good products from the companies that aim for perfection.
