I know most people here are pretty tired of Mario, but I saw these diorama sets at Target last night & they look pretty cool to me. Unfortunately, Boo is just a cardboard cutout in the Dungeon set.
Well I'll be damned, I spotted something "new" that isn't Mario related! Thinkgeek had a reissued big Metroid, but this time with UV-reactive paint on the clear part that reveals veins. Or I guess they would be nerve endings? Either way it looked pretty neat, but the downside is it was $25. I don't know if it's the lights built into the box that bumped the price up but I'm happy with my original one.
I saw it at Gamestop. The effect is ok, if the lights were part of the Metroid it would have been cool. I'm happy with my original as well and I'm especially glad the smaller ones were made.
I scored the thinkgeek ocotorok popper. This thing is awesome. Random Zelda stuff like this is so unexpected.
I really like that! I've been wanting to get into background stuff and dioramas for a while. @Dr Kain Some dioramas, her ship and iconic enemies would be cool.
Kamek is cute! Snagged Iggy "Hip" Koopa for DD. I'd love for them to make Hop, Bigmouth, Kootiepie and Bully as well.
I have no idea? I don't really follow Jakks Pacific releases sans the Mega Man FC figs. I don't think we're getting anymore of those. I just pick em up now and then. Which Koopa Kid specifically?
17 has been out for a while. I started seeing them regularly at Target as far back as spring of this year. Just saw most of the wave last night.
Saw wave 17 a couple weeks ago at my GameStop, grabbed the lone Goomba. For some reason I thought there was a Luigi too but I keep second-guessing myself on that.
I picked up the Goomba at my local Gamestop a few weeks back, still waiting to find a Luigi to go with the Mario I picked up a while back. I've also been tempted by the Link figure they've had for a while now too.
