K'Nex have made a ton of enemies in the blind bags! These are the ones that I think scale alright: Cheep Cheep, Bullet Bill, Goomba, Para-Goomba, Boo, Shy Guy, Bob-Omb. The others, like Hammer Bro, Fire Bro, and Dry Bones don't scale all that well imo. Here's the full list: K’Nex Mario Kart blind-bagged figure decoder | OAFE – Blog Currently Series 5 is at Walgreens, Series 6 is at Wal-Mart and TRU.
Mmmmmmmmm, I have $110 on my BBTS account but I was saving it for the slew of SH Figuarts DBZ figures coming out the next couple of months. Debating if I should suck it up and pay $50 for those two.
I guess it's over for this line. I've been checking my TRU for like 2 months. Bunch of Diddy and Donkey Kong's rotting on the pegs.
In their defense, those figures are amazing. The Metroid is probably the best figure of the Jakks line in my opinion. It really is massive when you get it out of the package.
From IGN: The New Wave of World of Nintendo Figures Look Great - IGN That 8-bit Link! Nom nom nom. They all look great indeed.
Nice! All shall be mine, Link especially. I've already given up on finding the 8-bit Amiibo Mario so this one will do nicely.
Score! My TRU had Peach and Gumba. Also got a little Shy Guy. I'm passing on pink Yoshi, at least for now. They somehow got in a Bowser without getting in any more DKs. Must have been a backroom find or something. I grabbed him. Not seeing the appeal of the 8-bit "figures". They look like refrigerator magnets.
my tru had all the new stuff in yesterday. decided to go with 8 bit link, 8 bit mario and a skullkid (still salty over that MM 3ds limited edition - jakks $4 release is nicer anyway). great stuff there for $12 all together. they also had the oversized 20" link for around the same price as bbts (45-50). actually looked cool, but felt very hollow so I passed. tru is not dead with the line. there was a lot of stock and I hope it continues!
Still stuck on donkey and diddy 2.5" figures but they got in the new plushies at my TrU picked up a Fox plushy. He's pretty awesome.
so is this line coming to an end? we never did see a 2.5" non-toon link, huh? also, weird pic request but can some post a picture of 2.5" mario and luigi with MP10 and the tiny three pack mario? please?
These little dudes totally made my day. One thing that is great about these is they made them in a hard ABS plastic (think Lego bricks) so the corners are very sharp and defined, as they should be for this style. I hope they do more. I'd love to see Link holding up the Triforce, Ganon, anything from Zelda really.
I'm starting to see the new 2 inch wave pop up at Walmart now; Deku Link and Purple Yoshi. I also finally snagged a Metroid last week at TRU. Don't give up hope yet everyone, TRU appears to be restocking the deluxe figures again.
