    Couldn't find an existing thread:

Two lines- a 5-inch scale line, and 2.5 inch mini figure line. Th 2.5 inch line has an Itchy figure and a Scratchy figure which looks it might scale better with the 5-inch figures.

The 5-inch line also has more expensive deluxe offerings:

I like what Jakks does. If I were down for opening a new rabbit hole, I’d strongly consider this one. And it looks like they might try to knock out the main family in the first couple or few waves. I feel like Super7 got way too obscure too early. Plus, the smaller sizes will take up less space on a shelf.

I do wish that the heads had more articulation if for no other reason that the potential to switch out Stoic Homer's head on the standard body for the Crazy Homer's head on a variant body.

I'm keeping to just Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie & the pets... maybe Grandpa, but that's it.
It's difficult to limit yourself since $13 a figure is a pretty competitive price point, but I will not be repeating what I did with World of Springfield line, which was buying pretty much all of the characters but ultimately displaying only the core family in the living room with everyone else in a ginormous box in the closet.

I will commit to getting the 5 main characters. Maybe Mr Burns.

I was a huge fan of WOS, and I loved collecting it.

I will get some of these. But Im not getting them all. Ill buy the whole family in the small line.
And some of the more fun characters in the large scale.

    These actually look pretty great.

I’ve got the entire World of Springfield line (and by extension, all of NECA’s line) so I’m not exactly hurting for Simpsons figures. But if I didn’t have that, I’d probably be all over these.

I never was into/nor heard of the Simpsons at the time World of Springfield happened. I was tempted by Super7 but the character choice and price kept me away (was tempted by Hank Scorpio at least). So I’m extremely happy to have an affordable Simpsons line to start.

I’ll get what I can but as an experienced Mario & Sonic collector let me tell you Jakks Pacific is the WORST at distribution even more so then Mcfarlane for DC. Bartman was the easiest and I only was able to get Wave 1 thanks to Walmart.com but as the line goes on it’ll only get worse. Next wave has Lisa, Krusty, & Moe so it has some of my favorite side characters and another family member to add. But I’m waiting for the likes of Abe & Hank Scorpio, and as much as I want him I highly doubt we’ll get Apu.

    They are pretty nice IMO.
But nothing will come close to the depth of WOS. But for a limited Simpsons smattering, these are great.

I was tempted to do this, as they had made the whole family, in a convenient box set. And also made the background of their couch tv room. But I decided to just go for the larger scale.

I didn’t know Jakks did a 5” Bartman. My local Walmart (allegedly) has him in stock. I should probably stay away from this thread, lol.

The 2.5" scale is amazing for the whole family on the couch in the living room. Its so cool, especially since you couldnt achieve that with WOS. More than 3 figures in one playset in WOS wasnt possible and even 3 doesnt look good. So to get the whole family on the couch with plenty of space, is unreal.

I saw the premium 5 inch figures at a Gamestop. But only one store. (...out of like 5 that I've recently visited)

Pretty sure the 5 inch line has one. I saw him at target and think he is part of the larger ones. Honestly I saw it in passing so could have been the smaller line but I don't have interest in the line so didn't take a hard look.

5" Bartman is a Walmart exclusive. He's pretty well hit saturation in my area since he gets a dedicated peg.
I almost thought about buying him just for the slingshot accessory, but naur.

Must have been a walmart I saw it at. I recall seeing it. I looked back in my pics as I take a lot of pics of various finds in case folks haven't seen them or whatever. I try to throw them up on the boards they are relevant to but the only Simpson pics I found are these: 1000009059.jpg 1000009027.jpg
One a barely visible corner as I was focused on the gi joes and another where they had a small stack of them on a shelf. Sadly batman isn't one of the ones in the photos though I am fairly certain these are both target stores anyway so he wouldn't be since he is a walmart exclusive.

This was a Walmart (obvious by the Leatherheads and shelving) and you can see Bartman there.

You don’t see all the boxes of gator men on the top shelf in that photo or is there some Simpsons character I don’t know by that name you think I’m talking about?
