I think the G1 Prime looks great. A nice quality looking collectible. Don't quite understand all the complaining myself but each to their own...

100% of the complaints are because these are non-transforming Transformers and some people want their Transformers to transform. While you may disagree with that absolutely insane demand, surely you can understand it.

For a second i thought this was an upscaled version of the G1 toy. Kind of like those walmart exclusives we've been seeing but bigger.
I remember seeing a custom on here that someone made with one of those that was super poseable which i would LOVE to buy

Why? Plenty of collectors out there don't play with toys and just want a high-end display piece to look at. Nothing "insane" about that...

No-one is forcing them to buy it. If they don't like it simply don't buy. It's quite simple. Hell, they're not even forced to read this forum. But instead the entitled man-child will clog up the forum with their entitled and spoiled brat style rants.

Guys. It's not a Transformer that doesn't transform, it's a model car that's painted like a Transformers character. I didn't used to go outside as kid, point at my dad's Land Rover and go "wHy DOesN"t mY 1;1 sCaLE OuTBaCk TrAnsFOr<?!?!!??!", so no I legit do not understand what you two are on about :lol .

Freightliner built cabover trucks with the steering axle set back from the front bumper like MP-10's alt mode:

This style doesn't seem to be very common compared to other Freightliner cabover offerings with the steering axle right behind the bumper, but they do exist.

Some trucks do have ladders or steps behind the cab to make it easier to get on the back of the truck to connect air hose gladhands and the electrical cable to the trailer.

these look great and are nice diecast homages to 2 iconic alt modes. if you arent into that there are several hundred other tf toys out there that will suit your needs. I have a few jada pieces and they are nice inexpensive collectibles to add to a collection. will pick up that g1 optimus on first sight.

The Gen1 Optimus that's out of box and the Movie Optimus that's in the TF1 box, appear to be twice the size of the Gen1 Optimus in box and the Movie Optimus in the TF5 box... so if the bigger ones are 1:16, the smaller ones might be 1:32.

I agree with you. The point of my post was to explain why many people do not like these toys. I'd never suggest that expressing dislike for something somehow invalidates the reasons why someone may like it.

This board needs to relax a bit but I'll admit there are no jk tags-- OH WAIT, JK, remember that? I'mma bring it back ya'll!

I like how they maintained the Studio Series and G1 style packaging for each truck. Nice homage.

Not that bright yellow (could be the camera flash making it look brigher) more of an orange that graduates into the red. Most of his figures have had it. It's missing from the nose on the MPM but present on the wheel arches.

@Black Convoy Do we know these are 1:16? I thought the two stacked up were 1:32 as they have the hanging tab on the box, plus they look smaller next to the MV1 truck, and the other two were the 1:24 scale.

Personally, I love the look of the G1 Prime, especially with all the extra bling/chrome bits. Kinda wish the MP line put a little more into their vehicle modes to bring them to this level, or at least a Binaltech level (small complaint, still love my MPs). This isn't something I'd buy, but I'd admire it if it was on somebody else's shelf.
