This might be a bit pointless but does anyone else see similarities between Broadside and the Jackhammer? The one on the right. I guess it might make some sense seeing as how both are (or have in at least one continuity) part of the Wreckers. And, yes, I know Broadside already has a given robot mode from Fall of Cybertron, but that was concept art and he wasn't used in the final game.
That'd be cool if the Jackhammer became sentient. Broadside from that i could get behind. provided he's not a emo wuss who's seasick and afraid of heights.
Thanks for your opinions. I'm just going over some ideas and making a list of changes I would make to the Prime cartoon.
I sort of see it...kind of... But I'd totally be for that idea, if the JackHammer became a sentient transforming (I'm looking at you, Nemesis) character. Sort of a TFA Omega Supreme-deal. Heck, with that colour scheme, I'd even love it if it was Jetfire.
Ha, I knew that it was originally meant to be a Transformer! Just never expected it to be Broadside, I thought it was originally meant to be Metroplex.
Good lord it's like Grimlock and Metroplex had a love child. I'm not sure if that's awesome or incredibly creepy. Pretty much going with what bountyan said. I guess it's possible if you think of it as a cybertronian version of his plane mode. That's kind of a stretch though.
I don't think he has a fear of heights nor is seasick. He looks HUGE which makes sense since he's an aircraft carrier.
I can sort of see where you're coming from, and it would indeed be cool if the Jackhammer ended up being sentient.
Pretty much the mantra of TFP. Either that, or the Jackhammer would be revealed to be a sentient character in the first episode of season three, and he would be all "The Energon on this planet has awakened me from stasis. I am Broadside, your guardian, Wheeljack. The great Vector Prime created me eons ago to be the ultimate secret weapon that can win the war. I'm super awesome and mysterious and stuff. And here's an interesting and cryptic part of my past which fanboys will totally come up with dozens of theories of how it'll come into play before the season finale." And then he would promptly die or return to stasis by the end of the episode and never be seen or heard from again.
HOT DAMN, dat FoC art. I can kind of see where you're coming from. while it doesn't look much like either his old design or the FoC concept, I can sort of see it as him translated into the Prime aesthetic. And it would be cool, but...if it happened, let's face it, nothing about the way the show has been done so far suggests it would come out like anything other than TylerMirage's suggested scenario up there. Prime I keep trying to love you. I want this relationship to work. Stop making it difficult.
