So Steve just posted this image on Twitter. "Prime" was used as a major theme before, so maybe this is a hint we could hearing a rendition of it in TF5.

Jablonsky has reused the Arrival to Earth theme in the sequels, so this isn't anything new.

But I thought ROTF had some great scores (maybe the best in the whole series), so this is very pleasing news for me.

 

Oooooooooooooh, nice! I expect Arrival to Earth to be somewhere in the movie too.

 

Niiiice. The scores are one of the highest points in these movies. Seems like TLK will be no different.

 

I'd rather them redo the "Scorponok" theme from the first movie. To date, that's the best of all the movie songs IMHO.

I'd love to hear a cool remake of that.

Jablonksy's music is one of my most favorite things about these movies, looking forward to hearing the new songs.

 

Even through, This is very exciting. There could be a possibility that this theme represent's Optimus's demise. But that's all speculation.

 

This definitely needs to be used.

 

I'm fairly certain we did in DOTM, it just wasn't acknowledged in the score's official release. There's a version used when he's scheming with the other 'Cons in Africa, and another version used when Carly confronts him. I would like a new one, though. The DOTM one, while ominous, does feel like it belongs to the more depressed Megatron of that film.

Still hate how big the vids are in the site's new format.

Edit: Oh, and to clarify to those who aren't familiar with the film's score, the first video (as far as I know) is what a fan's extracted from the film, not from the score's official release, and the second, while from the official release, is obviously several tunes in one and not called "Megatron's theme". Thus, my comment that Megatron's theme wasn't acknowledged in the score's official release.

 

I just used the "Forest Fight" today as a bgm for a halloween box maze i made for kids halloween party! Fit the mood quite well. Is it a reprise of the Prime that comes in toward the end of that?

Optimus\' heroic crescendo is the best part of every soundtrack. they just need to make a longer loop of it.

The list of best hits tracks is missing one: Autobots Reunited, I much prefer the cinematic version than the \'sample score\' version. One more thing, when they do this soundtrack, make sure they release the whole thing!!

I wish they would re-release all the score soundtracks again for those that never got them and or add in all the score music that didn't make it in or was in the movies but never added to the score release. I have Movie 1s score but also have movie 1s (not used score music) and there are another 12 unused tracks and 8 alternate tracks to tracks that were on the score. One being an alternate/extended Scorponok track. And Arrival to Earth.

 

God, I would cut off a limb to hear the Scorponok theme in the theater again. I'll take any type of remix at this point. Even dubstep.
