I know Minerva's been done in a semi-official capacity as another Arcee repaint. I like that Animated Arcee mold. I really do. But not for Minerva. I have a whole shelf full of fembots to swing swords around and kick ass. That's not what I want from Minerva. This is what I want from Minerva:

Why? Because in addition to a giant robot, she's also a 15 year old anime girl. I mean, look at this:

    this clip.

They make her get her parent's permission before becoming a headmaster jr! If you told the animated Arcee mold it had to get ask permission because it was a girl, you'd still be in hospital having translucent blue swords surgically removed.

So long story short, I chose BB as the base mold due to the youthful appearance. And I KNOW a lot of you are going to tell me her heads' too big. Watch 5 seconds of that video link above and then tell me that. Start at about 3:57. :D  I added the red spiky ridges and purple visor an homage to her transtector head. She does HAVE a nose, but it's rather subtle, befitting an anime girl.

Alt mode's perfect too, right down to the siren.

Arms are from a ROTF nightbeat's legs. The doors pivot up onto the shoulders and her arms swing down. No partsforming required.

I didn't realize til I was done just how similar she is to my most recent fembot. Same color scheme, right down to the orange face!

Anyway, that's your lot! Another fembot off the list, and I think I'm done with them for a while! :D

Man, I didn't even recognize the mold until I saw the feet! ("Arcce? No. Ratchet? No.") The headsculpt is WONDERFUL, BTW.

Thanks guys! Tho I feel I should mention I got the feet idea from that thread in the tutorials section about fixing BB's bunny feet. That part wasn't technically my idea.

Very nice look! And intelligent use of TFA:Bumblebee mold. Hard to tell in robot mode from what mold she came from. The head doesn't look big, she have a good childish look ;)  Override is her older sister?

    Nice!

And as for the Minerva/Override similarities, I always thought they were intentional. So much so that I've been using C Override as Minerva for years!

I surprised you didn't realize this until done. I seem to recall quite a few people ( including myself ) saying in the other thread that it looked like Minerva. :p

Great job though. Love this take and I agree she looks more youthful.

This made me laugh in pure amazement at just how perfectly that works. She looks so awesome! The robot mode looks so different from Bumblebee as well, i almost thought it wasn't the deluxe BB, but some other version. I stared at my computer screen thinking it was Hydrodive BB or something. :lol

You need to make a tutorial on how to do this, and i need to get a new Animated BB. Also, you need to cast that head. And lots of it. :)

Thanks! It's really cool to think I changed the mold enough that people can't recognize it.

They might be intentional. The only major difference is Minnie has silver highlights and blue windscreens and Override has gold highlights and dark red windscreens. Course, I made them look even more similar by making an override with big shoulder kibble! :D

Yeah, I knew they would look alike (both red & white, both with shoulder kibble) I just didn't realize how much. Pretty much everything but the boots and the forearms!

Next to each other they look less like sisters and more like a younger & older version of the same character! :D

Fresh and amazing takes as always. Excellent work yet again. The alt-mode seems perfect for this version on Minerva.

This looks so official it's criminal. I at first though you had built the entire thing from scratch until I read the notes. It's far too rare we see such heavy modification of Animated figures.
    This really looks great!
