It would be amazing to get updated versions of Armada characters.

The characters where really interesting visually, like Hot Shot, Demolisher and Starscream, so it's a shame that no company will make new figures of them.

An MP Thrust would be really cool.

Every day I’m holding out for Sideways. And everyone else. But mainly Sideways.

MP versions would be great, but I'd take chug versions too.
Thrust, Sideways, Wheeljack... Let them come.

Please God let somebody make a Titan scaled Tidal Wave! I think even the geewunest of geewuners would buy that.

If they did them at CHUG scale, we'd have the benefit of already having a few (Hot Shot, Starscream, Deluxe Armada Prime).

IDK if the market could support a full line of MP scaled A/E/C figures, but I definitely think there's a market for the most iconic ones.

I'd love for Armada to get some love. I'd dig them in CHUG scale but I'd prefer them as legends.

Not exactly begging for unicron trilogy, but I’d def buy good versions of them. I actually would love a hot shot and red allert

Almost anything outside of 84/85 will get me excited at this point

Armada Hotshot would really suit MMC's house style perhaps.

    Demolishor too.

A bit of mild modification would help a whole lot with Thrust too - rather than slavish accuracy.

I would like MP versions of a few, but not strictly toon based. Some of the aesthetics were just ridiculous since they were modeled so closely to their toys. Starscreams backpack thing for instance. Absolutely hate supermodels Optimus with trailer tail.

There's only eight characters on both sides. I don't think it'd be that hard to get the full cast out, especially if they start out with the big guys first. Plus Optimus, Megatron, Starscream, and Hot Shot would be easy repaints I'm sure most Armada fans would double-dip for.

Honestly, the only thing I think would be an actual risk is a super huge Tidal Wave because even if we all want it deep down, it'd probably cost more than the Haslab Unicron. Contrary to popular belief, Armada fans can afford 3P figures, but I can admit a bigass Tidal Wave would still be a huge risk for a few years. One that scales and combines with Megs will probably have to suffice for a while.

The amount of Armada fans that can afford to drop a lot of money on these potential MP figures realistically speaking is going to be way less than the G1 market. You’re right about they need to come out the gate with the heavy hitters first to grab attention. A Tidalwave would probably have to be a late maybe final release if they wanted to make him proper scale.

Armada is my G1 though, so I say bring it on!

I think doing guys like Optimus and Starscream first might backfire in this case.
I think it would be best to start of with main UT characters who also deviate from the G1 designs of those characters, like Megatron, Jetfire, Thrust.
This would get interest from the people who only want the same characters over and over again while keeping it exciting for people who would otherwise be alienated because all they see is another red truck or a yellow sportscar.

I agree that Megatron or Red Alert especially should be done first, but even though it’s a shitty practice it’s financially viable to put out Starscream because you can do all the repaints to fund the rest.

I think that it’d be smart to do a Jetfire and Overload before Optimus though.

I wonder if they’d keep Minicon gimmicks of the originals except they’re not technically powered by them, they’re just an extra accessory and the gimmicks are features you can use without them attached.

I agree that it would be best to keep the gimmicks and the minicons but keep them independent of each other.

I'd even go for legends sized figures just so I have have a gigantic Tidal Wave to go in scale with it. I'm mostly happy with CHUG scale as I don't see why everything needs to be MP scale.

I think that with how simplistic the designs and the powerlink were, implementing these features may be possible. I'd be happy to still get the Mini-Cons even if the weaponry isn't spring-loaded.
