"IT: Chapter 2" To Run Nearly Three Hours - Dark Horizons Well, looks like I'm not going to be drinking anything for at least three hours before I see this.
WOW! No wonder they split it up into 2 chapters! J/K Seriously glad I booked the entire release day off from work. jD001
That’s really long for a horror movie. Kudos to them though. Maybe Endgame showed studios they shouldn’t be afraid of long movies again if there’s enough story to tell.
I just rewatched the first one to get ready for this on Friday. I cannot wait. I'm really curious to see if they actually explain how the 27 years thing works and to see what new tricks Pennywise has to offer now that they will be adults.

"It: Chapter Two was a great time, no alcohol required" "C+" Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 71% - "It: Chapter Two proves bigger doesn't always mean scarier for horror sequels, but a fine cast and faithful approach to the source material keep this follow-up afloat." Metacritic Score: 59 out of 100
It seems like the complaints about this second one are the same complaints critics had with the first in which people seem to think jump scares and gore is what makes something scary when I consider it to be suspense and tension. I do have to laugh because one of the critics said it was very faithful to the book and then lamented about the amount of CGI in the movie. I only know a little bit about the original story, but I do know that there are things in the book that they were going to need CGI to pull off effectively, so of course it is going to have CGI in it.
Sadly I'm not gonna be able to see it this weekend due to real life. Also regretting not being able to see the premiere here.

The theater I work at is going to have 100 red balloons dispersed throughout the building. I'm curious to see how customers (especially the younger ones) will react to it.
Just got back. Not bad. Never scared of either film. Still annoyed by Pennywise. He seems too creepy to me. But with one kid I saw why they would go to him. Spoiler: Spoiler Did love the running joke ok Bill sucking at writing endings. Even King said the endings sucked. Those got a big laugh from me.
