I dont know if its just my local WMs or random chance, but I noticed the tags for TF toys on pegs are limited to just RID2015 deluxes but not TR/Gen.
Both had only RId 2015 figs, but no GEN figures.

In addition, there are fewer overall pegs for TF in my WM in the last few months (due to Star wars perhaps?)
4-6 pegs for both RID2015 and TR combined.

Since Xmas just happened, I'm hoping it is just a temporary thing.

Anyone else see this at their local Wallyworld?

It's been like that with my three local Walmarts. Each had the rollback tags up where the TR figures deluxe figures should been at. Yet for weeks those pegs remained empty, while the pegs next to it was full with figures from the other line.

My closest Walmart has the 14.92 price stickers back on the deluxe pegs. The stores probably don't have any stock and didn't bother with the peg stickers because of that.

While I was away I only saw just Voyagers and Leaders, than again maybe they might restocked the Deluxe again of Generations.

It's probably the post Christmas low. Last year none of the local stores had any new transformers until February.

As for the just got to have it crowd there is always online shopping.

Yeah, it kinda happened near the Walmart at Guayama, I kinda find it odd that they are selling the larger voyagers and leaders and yet no deluxes. It mostly explains why i wasn't so lucky with freakin' Combiner Wars.

They'll be back. This happens every time Walmart doesn't stock something regularly. It turns into 'the sky is falling' attitude that spreads among fans. Then you get employees who don't know anything stating the chain is dropping the line. This has happened dozens of time in the Star Wars line. 'Oh nose! Walmart is never stocking figures again!!! Joe-Bob told me so!!!"

We are in the between space of waves. Wave 2 hit hard a few months ago and now Wave 3 is starting to hit. So for most places that sold out of figures, its just waiting for the next wave to make it through the system.

Toy stocking is going to be pretty thin for the next few months. Its like this across the toy industry.

TR should continue but in smaller pegs, no doubt as the retailers begin to make room for the upcoming Last Knight toyline.

They're probably no longer selling them. Titan Returns figures were marked down to 9.99 at my Walmart and now they're all gone except I did see a single Galvatron on the shelf last I went.

EDIT: Or maybe they are according to Kevin...lol

Pretty much this. Though if we get lucky, Hasbro might sneak in a few older molds for "Exclusives" Using some of the generations molds, Remember how AOE Reused FREAKING Beast Wars toys two separate Walmart Exclusives? That was freakin' unusual. Then again the Movie lines are known to smack in alot of "Classic Styled" molds since the First film.

I hit up one Walmart today that was about as well stocked with TR stuff as I had seen, albeit at regular prices

The closest one to me is in Duncan, OK and got wave 2 deluxes in mid-November (which sold through by Thanksgiving and the pegs weren't restocked in December), a ton of Trion & Train, and the leaders are the same damn CW Skywarp & Starscream they've had since Christmas 2015. Supposedly there is an aisle reset coming in a couple weeks but I doubt it'll mean much for Generations.

We don't have Walmarts here, but it was like that here as well. Less and less Generations but more RID. But in general it's even Transformers as a whole that's represented less and less. Only way to get them is online. Retail sucks more and more.

You have to wait for the movies to come out before you really see Walmarts and targets really stock up. I'm cool with it slowing down right now in anticipation for the new toys coming out this summer. I don't doubt that we will get a robust generations line sold along side the movie figures.
