The actions of Vertebreak are kinda creepy, violent and i'm sure some parents out there would think it would badly influence kids. I still thought he was an awesome Con but I still want to hear your opinions.

    Nah.

He may have been a tad creepy, but I think it was pretty tame over-all. Its possible that some child may be scared of him, but I think it comes down to individual children reacting differently to things. Simply put, what's scary to one kid may not be scary to the next.

I don't see parents these days batting an eye at something like this, since kids are exposed to stuff that's arguably more inappropriate for their age / intense / violent when their too young nowadays anyway. I'm also not blaming the media they watch, just to clarify. It's the parents job to make sure their child isn't viewing media for an older audience, when their too young to even understand what it all means.

If a young child watches something like South Park and starts to swear like a sailor, it's not the show's fault for being raunchy, its the parents fault for not keeping an eye on them and the media they consume.

Yeah but the overall action might still influence some kids badly.

Influence them to do what? Chop people's heads off? I think if a kid doesn't know that you can't do that to an organic being, then watching cartoons is the least of their problems.

    Thank you Soundwaverulls.

Slender Man stabbing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A 12 year old girl stabbed a classmate as an offering to the "Slenderman". So it could be argued that one of the many Slenderman stories influenced her to do something wrong.

Blaming the fictional character or story for the real crime and actions of someone, is irresponsible and a misguided attempt to deflect blame away from the parents. This girl was either not mentally mature enough to understand it was a fictional story, or she has other underlying mental issues.

They did the exact same thing in Animated. Kids turned out pretty alright from that.

Nah, he's basically like the Headmaster from Animated. The only difference is that Vertebreak's not an annoying waste of space.

I hadn't thought of that until now but yeah, they are rather similar.

Not really. After all, they are robots so no blood or gore is in any scene.
