    Hello there!
As I am typing this, I am looking at the toy line for The Last Knight. Within the toy line products, I came across something rather stunning that may leak to The Last Knight's plot. As a very big fan of Transformers, this is very stunning to type about. As some may know, there is a remake of the Age of Extinction Optimus Prime toy (that included the sword and shield) called the Shadow Spark Optimus Prime. Now, you might say "what's that have to do with Unicron?" Well, the answer is look upon the back of the box. The description of the Shadow Spark Optimus Prime reads "OPTIMUS PRIME leaves Earth to stand against his creators in defense of our planet. He finds unexpected dangers in the blackness of outer space, including a new threat with the power to destroy us all." Let's review that again, shall we? Let's mainly focus on the last bit "with the power to destroy us all." Which transformer(s) in the history of the whole Transformers universes has the power to destroy "us" all? Out of ideas? It's Unicron! Unicron has been around since G1. He's been the main bad guy. He's even considered the "Brother of Primus" in the Transformers Prime universe. On the note of Primus, Primus is actually Cybertron. And in Dark of the Moon, Cybertron was destroyed due to the space bridge control pillar being destroyed. So, if Primus is no more and Cybertron is gone, why hasn't evil consumed the universe? It is, slowly. It even effected Earth. AOE was about killing Autobots & Decepticons alike because they were considered evil. Now, with his brother Primus gone, Unicron has the ability to take Earth because his brother can't stop him! He took over Optimus Prime, henceforth "Shadow Spark" because Prime has been altered by Unicron because the Matrix, a portion of Primus' spark, is useless due to Primus being destroyed!
So, in conclusion to my evidence, Because Primus died in Dark of the Moon, Unicron IS going to be in The Last Knight because there is nothing left to stop Unicron's power to destroy us all. What do you think? shadow spark.PNG 1484249976-4559020cgw1fbnmzpo5llj21w02iokjm.jpg

You have provided speculation with no actual evidence. You have jumped to a huge conclusion without much of anything to back you up.

What I try to mean is due to this writing on the box of Optimus Prime (shadow spark), it references a threat able to destroy us all. Unicron is able to destroy anything in it's path. So, it could be possible that Unicron is in The Last Knight + Unicron is a very pivotal being in the Transformers Lore.

EVERYTHING in these films has been a 'threat able to destroy us all'.

I just assumed Unicron is in this because it's one of the last bullets left in the chamber now that we've had a combiner, Dinobots, Galvatron, etc.

The only other option is Quintessons. But there's footage of *something* destroying a planet *somewhere* so if Unicron isn't the villain in this he's a thing they're teasing for a future movie.

Anybot can "destroy us all", not just Unicron. Galvatron from the Cybertron series practically had god level powers. The Fallen was seconds away from destroying both earth and the sun. The Quintessons could easily be the ones behind this planetoid in TLK making them the ones able to "destroy us all". Megatron at the end of the first movie's game won the Battle of Mission City and wiped out humanity.

Unicron is not the only bot who can "destroy us all."
Why did you even post this on the news forum?

First off, in the movies, Primus is not Cybertron, but the first of the Primes and he died long before DOTM
2nd, we don't know if Cybertron was destroyed. More likely case is the half that came through the space bridge was sent back.

It's pretty much clear to anyone paying attention that Optimus is under the influence on the Creators/Quintessons, not Unicron.

Since this is mostly speculation, I moved it to the movie forum instead.

This seems much more plausible, especially when you consider this could be based off the best Episode in G1 Transformers, "Dark Awakening" where prime returns from the dead as a puppet of the Quint's to destroy the Autobot's. This looks exactly like what the trailers are showing.

He said Primus, and not Prima, was the first Prime and died before DotM.

    No, no he didn't.

^ from the opening post, near the bottom.

Problem is, Primus wasn't in DOTM, or any of the movies. Never once.

I suppose I wasn't clear. He said Primus dies, when he clearly meant to say Prima, as Prima was the first transformer (in most cases).

No, you weren't clear and you're flat out incorrect. And so is he.

Primus is not in the movies, at all. Not even mentioned. Neither is Prima. Not one of the movies mentioned either one of them and neither one of them died in or before DOTM.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here, but it's falling on deaf ears because it's utterly pointless.

... Do some research before spouting nonsense. Prima is not explicitly mentioned in the films, but is named in canon sources, as one of the original Primes alongside the Fallen, and he does technically die before DotM, as he sealed the Matrix of Leadership away with the remaining primes.

You're talking about the comics. They're not recognized by Bay or his producers or writers at this time. When they are, then you can officially make them part of the movie canon, but until they're mentioned in the films, they're not a part of it. No matter how much you wish it to be so, it just isn't.

Believe me when I say I dislike the movieverse with a passion. But I'm fairly certain that Hasbro has final say on what is canon, given that they were the ones to license the comics.
