Since the new MPs are coming out in about a week or two and also Havent seen him in local TRUs for almost 3 weeks(even the price tags are taken off), do you think that TRU run of MP grimlock is finally over?

    thanks

I've only seen him twice here and the second time is when I picked him up and that was like a month ago. I know one has clearanced out their last Acid Storm in preparation for Sunstorm. Looks dire...

I never even saw space in a shelf for one. No shelf tags either. This is the first MP I haven't seen in stores.
Granted, there were plenty opportunities to grab it online.

Same here. I didn't even know MP Grimlock had started yet. Whose brainwave was it to rerelease this MP during the new movie toy frenzy?

Someone who knew that Dinobots would sell across the board. Brilliant idea, really. They don't care WHO buys it, they just know that it's gonna sell.

I never seen it.If it wasnt for all the scalping on ebay/craigslist I would have believed it to be a myth. The day it was supposed to be released i was at the store and they said the truck came and went,Later that day my friend called me that they sold out their stock.
Funny thing is,I left an hour before he called.

Pretty sure it's over. I just don't understand why TRU doesn't start buying more of these things. Someone really needs to get an interview with the guys who set this stuff up.

that didn't bother me at all because I have zero interest in any bayformers since it all started. I just concentrate on looking for MPs and G1 Generations. I saw grmimlock a few times but they had sold out quick.

I personally think that any TRU MPs when released will run for 1 month+ only(similar to MP soundwave). Once a certain store sells out, then it's gone. Factory does not reproduce them anymore. Once in a blue moon you'll see a few here and there flowing around in TRU but those are left over stock that were hidden somewhere in the warehouse, or returns.

Its Over. There are no open orders for TRU MP-03 Grimlock at any Distro centers, online or retail store. Any stock that was at the warehouse has been sent to the stores. No more restocks or online sales.

I just called my local tru's and they told me they have been discontinued. I think that just means they have not been getting any in the warehouses despite the increased demands. Hope that helps

Never managed to see one at any of the local TRU's so it's a bit disappointing. When I had tried to order online through TRU Canada it wouldn't let me complete my order if Grimlock was in my cart. Oh well, maybe they will do another run of him at some point down the line.

Simple rule of thumb with TRU MPs -You snooze you lose. I picked one up for my brother. It took a total of 55 minutes effort -Six phone calls, 2 random store searches, and one false alarm held AOE Grimlock.

Well, that was quick. Glad I was able to snag one during its short run. It really boggles my mind as to why TRU chooses to do this with their MP figures. From MP-10, to Soundwave, and now Grimlock, these are in short supply, with rediculous demand. It would make sense, from a business standpoint, to produce more of them to meet demand.

Yes, I know Thundercracker and Acid Storm didn't fly off of the shelves like SW and Grimlock, but common sense would dictate that a few more runs of Grimlock would be a solid business decision.
