I'm trying to purchase some stuff from them with my credit card, when I do the website generates an error about a Paypal account. I haven't ordered anything from them in a few years, are they still trustworthy? I noticed a LOT of stuff is out of stock but still let me add it to the cart too. I just want my Laser Prime stickers...
Hi there! I work at toyhax This kind of error message occasionally gets generated due to the security checks performed by our merchant account. We have no way of knowing what's caused them, but they're often due to things like address issues, or incorrect CVV numbers. If the issues persists, please try using the Paypal option instead.
I still buy stickers there fairly regularly, the last time being probably about a month ago. Never had an issue. I've never tried adding something labeled as out of stock to my cart so I can't speak to that. But yeah, if you order something that says it's in stock, you'll receive it. Just know that they say mailing can take up to 4 weeks, and most of my orders take almost that long to get to me
It uses the information from my google wallet which I double checked. I tried again and it gave the same message. I do not have a paypal account so that is not an option. I was able to make a purchase at BBTS fine just now, thanks!
Never had had an issue, and I've ordered with them I'm guessing about 9-12 times. Though keep in mind they send them in an envelope (with card stock around the stickers so they don't get bent), so you won't get a tracking number. Just keep in mind you'll have to wait, in my experience about 2 weeks or so.
I've ordered from them before, it's just it's been awhile, and getting a Paypal message for a debit card made me nervous I was on a fake site or something. Waiting and packing is fine, just want to be able to order them lol. I ordered a Laser Prime set off Ebay instead, so will be waiting who knows how long for that
Once I ordered a fairly large lot of stickers using a money order. I waited and waited until I asked what happened to my order. I listed what I paid for and eventually received my stickers after a few months. Unfortunately, I forgot to include the Alternator Skids upgrade sticker sheet I originally ordered before I asked about my lot. I didn't bother messaging them again since I just wanted that whole experience to be over. I'm not sure what they did to my money order. To this day my Skids is without the upgrade set.
Unrelated, but I’m such an annoying customer of theirs. I’m like, “hey, this coupon expired, but can I use it anyway?” “Hey, I forgot to add this thing to my cart before checking out, can I change it?” They seem hella tolerant. And I refresh the page daily. Wondering, “do I place this order or wait and see what’s next first?”
I tried ordering some SS86 Jazz stickers last year and had a similar issue now that I remember, but after awhile 2 sets did show up in the mail (well, 1 set and set 2 was missing a sheet, but as far as I can tell I was never charged?) But I had zero luck trying to order some Laser Prime and Core figure stickers. I was able to grab some BBTS stuff and a Lego Groot (I was on the fence about him but he's actually pretty cute in person) so I know it isn't my card.
