i was gong to purchase this g1 optimus prime but i was wanting to make sure it was legit first. it looks like it has spanish written under the english.

it's from BBTSand the guy said that they usually don't sell knock-offs and if they do it's labeled knock off in the description. but it just says g1 optimus prime and nothing bout a knock off

 

If im not mistaken, thats a Canadian release with english & french

Plus, if it was a KO, it wouldnt have such a beaten box...

 

Oh, I thought the thick grey line next to Prime meant it was a knock-off.

 

Looks alright to me. A lot of packaging outside of the US is boxed with multi-lingual labeling. Just look at the European packaging for the current Hasbro lines.

 

It's legit

 

The KO has the grey bar above the window in addition to Prime's left. And it looks like a legit, international release as others have stated.

 

That's French, not Spanish. This is the Canadian release of Optimus Prime, which had mandatory bilingual packaging and instructions.

 

if you don't want the box, I'll buy it off you. I"ve been looking for a bilingual box for years. sadly, this is the best shape i've seen one in.

you'd think living here in New Brunswick, i'd see more bilingual prime boxes...
