Could someone please take a look at this Predaking I bid on and won off ebay. The description says one is diecast, but I'm still confused if its an original diecast or one of the reissues. Anyways before i send out the money i want a couple second opinions. Thanx guys, totally clueless and just don't want to spend 300 on a KO or reissue. http://cgi.ebay.com/Transformers-G1...s=66:2|65:13|39:1|240:1318|301:0|293:1|294:50 sorry if the links not working...u can search 220397695214 on ebay
theirs a problem with your link you dont put the URL in URL tags you go Then you enter the text you want to make the link and then you end it with any ways without seeing better pi...it might cost you less and their all diecast.
Probably something you should've looked into before agreeing to pay for the item.... My apologies but I'm unable to help in this matter.
It's not a KO nor a reissue. But 300 dollars is a high price for that Predaking. Maybe if he had all of his swords, instruction booklets and no (sticker) wear the price would have been fair. If you have waited you could get one for 200-225 in that condition. Or you could have bought a reissue giftset. Although I would be fast, cause the reissue giftset prices are rising every month. For 300 I would have bought the reissue set for sure instead of this one. The giftset is a metal version, case fresh and 100% complete. I've got a vintage plastic Predaking, a MISB reissue giftset and bought another MIB reissue giftset last week. And I got a big Predaking backpiece. Man, I LOVE PREDAKING!
forgot to add that since you've bid on the item you really cant do much now since by bidding you enter into a contract with the seller to buy it for that amount after looking on ebay many of the reissues sell for more then 300 dollers so in a way I think he did ok and he can buy those missing swords
I understand i overbid, but when i sent a question about it the seller claims all are original G1. I just wanted to make sure none were reissues, since one was diecast and the others weren't. I agree that since i bid I'm obligated, but i can also explain to the seller and reimburse him say 30 and have him throw it back up
it's most likely the real thing, i don't think it's a knock off, and the reissue all had metal, so, at most, only ONE of them could be reissue and even if it is reissue, it's still a good buy how ever, my experience is that you do not want to mix the diecast with the plastic, so you might want to find a loose incomplete divebomb, with no parts or something for real cheap. after all it will become an arm. i only have the reissue, but i'd assume the weight of the metal, would cause the plastic to become really loose one day. at least that is the case of my all metal reissue one. and i barely touch it too. maybe some one else could confirm this better.
Nice. You and I should start a Predaking fan club. I got a plastic loose Predaking, a MIB G1 Predaking, and reissue MISB Predaking. Trying to sell the loose one because of space, but I got 2 more so I am not worried. If I had any money in the future I'd love to get a MIB reissue Predaking giftset like you.
I think it's a bit overpriced, however like the above poster said, the plastic versions are definitely g1. And Divebomb have quite a few sticker wear so it's hard to believe it's a reissue. If you really want to make sure, check their stamping, reissues were made in china.
G1 did diecast and all plastic versions...like the others said...you will have to check for copy right stamps...i would not work if one or more were original g1 or reissues...they are definitely not KO's....and the swords and other weapons are readily avaliable via ebay stores.... i paid in the mid 300's a year or so ago for the complete japanese reissue box set plus shipping so that price is not too bad....
Another hint for your bought Predaking, buy some new sticker sheets from reprolabels. I did my vintage one last week, it looks like new again!
Doesn't matter much what you do now, because sellers can't give buyers negative feedback ratings anymore. Which sucks.
