$99.99? TRANSFORMERS MOVIE Premium VOYAGER CLASS Blackout MISB - eBay (item 220617488032 end time Aug-04-10 19:32:32 PDT)
seems high to me, especially with all the known problems with that mold. but then again i have no clue how many of the premium version were made.
The guy probably saw this BIN/Best Offer listing that sold: Transformer Movie PREMIUM BLACKOUT Sealed MISB New - eBay (item 390211923311 end time Jul-10-10 20:32:02 PDT) That's the only reason I can find as to why the Oakland seller wants $99.99. The loose figures aren't going for any where near that. One actually went for $17.
I remember selling mine for $75 late last year. Looks like someone else bought one for $95 a few weeks ago. For some odd reason those Premium versions shot up late last year.
Huh? What makes you say that? Those are all BIN/Best Offer listings. No bidding involved. Even if they staged a sell, they would have a few dollars to pay in final value fees. Not the best tactic IMO.
There's no reason for pricing to shoot up that high. Especially on this figure. There are some cherry G1's I've seen that should for for $100 that don't even hit half that. Then again if some idiot wants to pay $100 for a premuim blackout I should be able to get at least $50 for my MISB premium BB.
they've been selling at that for a while, i think mainly because people started collecting with rotf, and want the best version of each movie figure, no new blackout means more demand for said figure
I think for the most part part the rest of the Premiums have started to drop. I do remember Blackout was definitely the most sought out one of the bunch. Looking at recent completed auction on Fee-bay that seems to be the case other than a Premium Megs selling in the mid-60's. I wonder how well a Lawsons Blackout will do these day.
