    Im trying to engage in debate wars against comic book superheros on this one site on their forums yet I have hardly any bios to get from. Im going off of the G1 comics from Dreamwave and IDW. Is there a TF Official guide form Simon Furman I can get?

    G1 should be based of the original tech specs. They were written by Marvel.

    If you're prepared to spend money and not just get everything for free from the Net, then the "More Than Meets The Eye" profile books are probably your best best. Two volumes released.

    Yeah, the old Universe Marvel book is my bible for most TF. The Dreamwave ones had too much of their own continuity stuff in it for my liking, although useful for characters that hadn't ever really had a fact file done on them before.

    This is pretty much the definitive listing for the original G1 characters. Each of the profiles is based on their original character write ups (the same that the tech specs are derived from).
