I have been considering getting some of my Holy Grail Transformers and I saw that TFSource has most of them at reasonable prices. So my question is should I order my toys from TFSource or would I be better off going to a convention and finding them.
Yes, they are good. I dunno if you are US based or internationally, but I live in the UK, and they are quite happy to help keep the costs of customs down. Which is always helpful.
They are decent. The shipping can be a bit steep at times. But if you combine orders and ship multiple things together it is a good deal. Their customer service and packaging is top notch though.
I would be careful when dealing with tfsource because I ordered something from them for x-mas last year, and a third party hacked into the website and accessed some customers' info. So I don't have much respect for tfsource. I would check to see if BBTS has what you want before dealing with tfsource.
TFSource is a good site. They pack well and their owner is very responsive to inquires. As others have said, TFSource and BBTS are two of the best online vendors. (I've also had good experiences with Captured Prey and Toy Arena.) Incorrect.
This can happen to any site, they were just one that someone knew or found access to and that happened could happen to any other site on the net. And yes they are a great site to deal with.
I don't buy from there much but when I have I've had great service. I usually go with BBTS first and then TFSource second. Mainly because of loyalty and lack of a pile of loot option.
Pros: Great packaging Great customer service Product prices are cheaper but shipping is usually a little more. (Moot point since I prefer Priority and Fedex over UPS.) Cons: For me at least, it seems when I order something it takes them 4-5 business days to actually ship the product (In-Stock Items) I did place an order from them on friday night and it did just ship today but that was a first in the last 4 orders. (BBTS isn't much better and sometimes worse in this department also) Overall they are good website.
Not even a little bit. It did happen. Happened to me personally. Someone tried to buy a laptop with my credit card info. I am pretty sure tfsource has addressed and fixed the issue. so I don't think it is a problem anymore. Basically tfsource will ship it to you in bullet-proof packaging, but you may pay just a bit more for the shipping. (not much mind you) But I prefer them to BBTS most of the time.
i ordered from their ebay page and used paypal for their site so my data was secure everything came quickly and packed very nicely
I won't order from them anymore. I think they did handle the CC thing pretty poorly and did have some of our data, cause Curt and co did send out an email that they would delete any data at our request. I did order from them after that, but did not really like the response I got after another product showed up with its box pretty beat up. There were a few other little things around the same time that started adding up. Until that point they were great, but a bad run (maybe bad luck) has driven me away from them and is where I now buy 90% of my stuff from.
Never had a problem with TF Source. I highly recommend them for their customer service and packaging. Sounds like a couple of people here had some bad luck but from everything I've about them over the years, those problems are the exception and not the norm.
Learn to be more specific. You simply saying "Incorrect" about the above statement came off as "It did not happen." It is quite easy to misread a single word. I appreciate you clearing it up though.
They're fairly dependable. I've ordered from bbts since well before I was into transformers, so I'm partial to them. I like their site and how they have lots of older stuff, not just the new. Plus their video reviews make me wan to spend money.
