Do you think TAKARA is planning ahead of Hasbro "power of the primes" line? After all, we are getting next year: - ehobby convobat - ehobby Magna convoy - Legends Lio convoy from Alpha Trion - and we are getting a pretty spot on God Ginray (technically not a convoy, but close enought, him being a different character than prime)
I think it's just coincidence. There's always Convoy exclusives. And we don't even know if Power of the Primes is even focused entiely on Optimus.
Why is this made in the news thread? Couldnt this have been asked in either of the news threads pertaining to these subjects?
That is the point, it may not focus on Optimus but one the prime line, the 13 primes. And as I don t see hasbro releasing13 figures, Takara is adding convoyS to the line? As said before, my mistake to post in news, should have been in toys section, sorry
I wouldn't be shocked if the overarching theme of Power of the Primes is "The 13", with all of them getting a voyager class figure and sharing some new core gimmick. The rest of the price points would fit into that gimmick...and would follow the trends of the rest of the Prime Wars Trilogy. That is, they'll be working through the 80s catalog to fill out the line wherever Titans leaves off.
takara is just using the molds for toys that they want to make, Hasbro is doing the same. Notice Takara's lack of Nightbeat, and Apeface. They're selling to their market and their market like all the flavors of convoy and Prime.
