I'd say yes, but it'd please more people when it's on clearance. The game reuses truckloads of the previous game's assets, and the plot lacks consistency, but one can still have fun with it. With the Escalation, it's personally my favorite Transformers game to date.

......Have you played any of the others? Maybe you're still in the Honeymoon phase, give it a while, and I'm sure you'll change your mind.

I get that everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but just....no.

Also, about escalation, it seems to have even less replay value than the FOC one. It's still only 15 waves and there's no variety of approaches with doors and grenades and such. But, that's my opinion.

I will for sure buy this. Mainly for Escalation and completing all the challenges and stuff like that. However, I will wait to it is like $20.00 or $30.00 before buying.

It's all very rushed and glitchy. Graphics on certain characters are appalling.

Escalation is very bland. Often waves of enemies can be killed from behind their entrance 'barrier'.

Edge of reality don't even mention this on their website.

Unless High Moon steps in and creates Cybertron game #3 then we'll likely have to wait until 2016 for another movie tiein effort. Ugh.

I hope they at least hand the license over to someone else if they won't let high moon do it. If they do, I pray to god that it's not edge of reality. They clearly did not care about what they were doing.

One thing that got on my nerves in foc was needing to spend the points to open doors to access larger areas. In rotds you have wide open areas with defenses to activate or upgrade instead of doors to spend the points on.

I'm not a big into online multiplayer so I don't really have enough knowledge to critique and say if it's good or not. However I thought the campaign was decent enough.

It suffered from the the same thing the previous two games did and that it's not a very long game. The movie tie in portion to the game could have easily been left out (though I thought playing as Drift was one of the more enjoyable things in the game) but thankfully most of the game takes place in the War for Cybertron/Fall of Cybertron universe. I also think they missed an opportunity in the Cybertron portion of the campaign to give you a level with the Dinobots to show how they got captured by Shockwave. You see what lead to the Shockwave's experiments with the Insecticons so seeing what happened that lead to Grimlock and the rest getting captured would have been nice.

However it didn't have that same polished feel that it did when High Moon was involved with the game. It's like it's a close match but not an exact match.

I suppose it's worth it but only for the Cybertron segments. If only the developers weren't so lazy by keeping the FOC models. I would have liked to see Optimus transition from the WFC model to the FOC one.

£50 for a hour and a half hour segment? lol no.

Rent it. If you must but please do not buy this game. I send this message to any sentient begins, this game is a piece of crap. It's not a movie game, it's not a FOC sequel, it's just a bunch of shit complied together.

If the main reason you considered this was story, don't buy it. In fact, stay away and take cover.

If the main reason was gameplay...go right ahead. I don't have it in hand but it looks great judging by vids.

Actually, the FOC story bits were quite enjoyable to me.

We all knew that after Activision purchased HighMoon that things would go downhill shortly afterwards and this crap is the result of it.

Speak with your money people, if nothing else buy a used copy at GameStop and return within 7-10 days.

Eh? Activision has owned High Moon since 2008, two years before War for Cybertron was released.

Not only that, but Edge of Reality made ROTDS, not HMS.

Point being Activision is the devil.

I see ROTDS as an arcade game. It's a distracting romp, so buy it cheap.
