Please correct me if i'm wrong..

But since i've read a bunch of issues with the original movie jazz, i'm assuming that the repaint's only difference is.. well.. the repaint..

To many of you out there, is it worth getting it just for the car mode?

 

I would say YES! I just got G1 Jazz a few days ago and he is far and away better than the silver/grey version. The G1 colors just look so much better on him IMHO. I'm wishing I had waited and just gotten this version and passed on all others.

 

I really wish they packaged the gun that jazz has in his final battle version with G1 jazz

 

Well, I bought him so I'd have to say yes. I don't mind his silver coloring but this repaint is both drastically different looking AND doesn't look bad, something that doesn't happen too often with repaints.

 

I don't quite know myself. It's probably better to be safe than sorry, and I thought well enough of it to put it on my want list, but I definitely wouldn't prioritize it over CC Bumblebee or the other, better new-mold deluxes just because of its paint apps.

 

I just got him this week and I am very pleased with his alt mode which is why I got him, but I also happen to be a fan of most repaints.

 

Just of the vehicle mode, no. Buy it for both. The paint job on this one is far better in both modes than the first version and not just because it is a G1 homage. While I like the look of the original also it just doesn't look as nice beside the G1 style Jazz.

 

I say its the best movie repaint so far, I love the car mode.

Silver is such a dull boring color to begin with .... so any redeco would be good

 

Got two of the Gen 1 versions a few days ago. Looks great! One for bot mode and one for alt mode display.
