A Premium Thunder Manus, Seekers or Contact Shot would have actually gotten my attention more. I like the look of this though.

I love the aesthetic of their Cross Dimension subline, so this is excellent news. Anything they put out in that line'll be awesome. Would love it if they followed through with the Cybertron Megatron they teased too.

Pretty sure they wouldn't re-release this if they weren't in a tight spot since they know it'll be a cash cow. Hopefully this means we get the rest of the coneheads soon.

So, is it time to close this thread. I'm glad they spoke up and I'm glad they are still alive.

He may be Downbeat, but this news is decidedly....*puts on sunglasses*.... upbeat.

Not getting my hopes up too high yet, but hopefully this means they really are alive again... and can finish up their Headmasters and release the Galaxy Lightning and Skycrow for which I've been pining so long.

Downbeat makes more concessions in terms of appearance than Fanstoys' version does, but that's because Fanstoys is willing to make transformation a hellish experience for the sake of getting the ideal look in both modes.

But, yes, it's still a great toy in 2020, and IMO will be the best Jazz for at least 3 to 5 more years, and will still be a contender even after Fanstoys releases depending on how much you care about transforming your figures.

I really like Downbeat a lot and Bounceback. It's going to be hard for me to replace this with any future release of Jazz.

I've included a few photos because I read somewhere on this thread or another (I can't remember exactly where) that someone wanted a 'toy' version with door-wings... With Downbeat you do have the option to display in either toon or toy style. The doors are on a dual rotation type system which allows you to fold them away behind the roof / back-plate or leave them showing. I haven't seen many photos where people display him like this... I guess with the inclusion of G1 stickers in this limited reissue people looking for toy renditions will be getting a good package.

I'm glad they gave us an official answer. Now let's follow with facts and give us some headmasters, or at least some updates on them.

Is it just me or am I the only one that's excited for their cybertron line since they're back? I'm pumped that they're not dead and can't wait for them to release their announced figures and more.
Looking forward to the future that's for sure

I’d basically forgotten those reveals. Now that you mention it, the possibility of their Galaxy Prime and Megatron are the most interesting to me. Though, even if they’re able to ramp back up as they expect, it appears those possibilities are a LONG way off.

I just want ONE Cybertron MP to not flop. I loved how Galaxy Meteor looked (never got ahold of it sadly. No means of doing so) but apparently it wasn't good? They only had sketches of their leaders. Transform N Rollout has gone radio silent on their Cybertron Prime, and Cold Constructs is struggling.
