Just did an eBay search on the guy, and there were no active auctions, only "Buy-It-Nows" with prices of $40. eBay stores were more reasonable, but I can't help but wonder if he's so pricey because he ended up being rare or something.

I can only go by what i see, but ive only ever seen the one leobreaker, and hes sitting on my shelf now. I dont know if that makes him rare or not though.

I saw a bunch of them a week or two before Christmas, but I figured I'd wait til I found him for cheaper, then never saw him again...but if he's rare, then he might be worth grabbing.

I dunno about your area, but at NYC, from every TRU I went to so far post-Christmas, I've seen at least one Leobreaker.

With that being said, I see more than one at every store and puhlenty of Evacs.

Personally, I just want Nemesis Leobreaker for Master Galvy.:D

I'm actually considering that now too, since I've decided to get a Galvatron. The colors work MUCH better than on Prime and normal Leobreaker.

But, still, I often prefer the original paintjob (and thus portrayal) of a figure to the repaint.

come to think of it, I've only seen him maybe 5 or 6 times ... and I'm at the stores 4 days a week.

    hmm.

Sold out. :D  But there are a lot of Mudflaps available if you want one.
I can't believe Cybertron toys are sold out, I'm soooo happy.

I would say no, I have seen several around even in the past 2 weeks, I wouldn’t say he's plentiful like Mudflap but he's still not hard to find. Evac on the other hand I saw once never to be seen again, fortunately I picked him up when I did.

It varies by region honestly. Here? He's rare. I've seen him 4 times, and each time he was one per case, not multiples. So yeah, I'd venture a guess he's at least semi-rare.

Voyagers sold really well around here at Xmas. Before that, there were plenty of each, including Leobreaker, Evac and Mudflap.

Stores have already started to restock. In fact I saw multiples of each of the above at the local Walmart and Target this morning. The only Voyagers I didn't see were Crumplezone and VP.. which I can't say I'm sad about.

The moral of the story? Don't pay $40 for a toy that can easily be found.

Don't think he's rare, but definitely harder to find than Mudflap. Even Defense Red Alert is easier to find now. Only seen LB a few times and there was always only one of them.
    Guessing he's 1 per case.
Maybe he'll show up more when all these Jetfires go away.

Now that you mention it, I've seen very few of these lately. Mudflaps and Evacs are everywhere. The Galvatrons I saw everywhere vanished very quickly.

Whoa, totally mixing up your cases and size classes there. Jetfire and Defense Red Alert have nothing to do with Voyager class stuff like Evac, Leobreaker, or Mudflap.

Leobreaker did become one-per-case when Evac hit, but so did Mudflap (2x Evac). When the only new figures were just Mudflap and Leobreaker, they shipped evenly (I forget if VP and CZ were still in there or not). It's probably just a matter of Leobreaker being a major character and hero.

I guess it doesn't matter how LB is here, but I have seen him only once. I guess he sold well during Christmas. He looks flashier than Evac in Alt mode, so he might have appealed to mums and dads.

I am happy enough with my Master Galvy and D Liger, though :p
