Because Siege Skywarp hasn't arrived in my country (and I doubt that he ever will) I was thinking to spray paint my Thundercracker to complete the seekers. The problem is that I have never customized a figure before but I know some basic steps on customizing such as: disassembly>priming>painting>reassembly, but I'm still afraid of ruining the figure. Feel free to give me your opinion on if this project is worth to invest my time and money, as well as some advises to help me out thank you.

I say if you only have one TC then grab another so if the off chance you mess up, you still have a regular TC.

Imo, you might like how your custom comes out more than the official because, as i have seen it described, SW is saturated. The black is a lighter shade but the purple is pretty dark instead of the usual bright purple he has. I say go for it.

the siege seeker mold is really easy to take apart, remember to wash and sand you parts especially sand everything that rubs together but luckily not much does with its transformation. if you choose to strip the paint dont do it with the clear parts they will crumble. if you are gonna use raddle can spray paint make sure the temp and humidity isnt too bad and tap off parts that will have pieces fit over them like where the ankles are because putting them back togethor with paint on is rough and you risk scuffing things up, they wont be seen anyways so you dont need paint there anyways

I've customised several of the Leader Combiner Wars Seekers using Spray paint. They came out quite well.

The good thing about customising any Seeker mold is that you never have to paint the heads. In my experience a ruined face can wreck the look of a custom more than anything.

I'd also wait a while. Siege Starscream and Thundercracker are shelfwarming in places. They should start going down in price over the next few months. No point spending €30 on a figure when you might get it for €20 in a few months.

it's very doable. I took them apart and instead of removing paint, I spray-primed them instead. And instead of sanding, I masked off the points that theoretically need to remain paint-free (the downside being you have some TC-blue peeking out). I did a near-full repaint of skywarp, and turned a TC into an OC seeker, and have three more TCs coming to do a whole subteam of OCs.

The TC's on Amazon and Walmart (online) are $16.99

I'm thinking of buy a couple of them. Repaint them to look like Skywarp, Sunstorm, and the Rainmakers.
