Ahem..... I paid 100 dollars for Phantasy Star 4.... Was I am dumbass? Maybe... but I beat that game in 24 hours. My Genesis was not turned off, and I only stopped to eat. I literally played that game beginning to end without turning it off, 24 hours straight.

That being said. 100 bucks FTL.

I think once a year I can play a game for 50+ hours, and the rest of the games I want to be quickies. This year (yes I'm late) it's Mass Effect, the year before that it was Final Fantasy 12, and the year before that was Dragon Quest 8 (over 100 Hours). In between that were the Shadows of Colossus, Gods of Wars and Heavenly Swords. I don't really mind short games.

Fixed. Mario, Halo, Zelda, etc. are fine around the 10-15 hour mark, but the best RPGs are always 50+ (I'm looking at you Morrowind and Neverwinter Nights with all the expansions).

With 25-50gb discs that really isn't a problem for the ps3. I think resistance takes up the most space at about 16gbs mostly due to the hi def video.

You ought to try Gundam Dynasty warriors, it's got enough character campaigns to keep you going for ages, and if you truly want to max out everything it'll take weeks.
Also are we counting unlocking all the secrets/bonuses as completing a game or just playing it through once?

Well, some of us spend half of our time at work not actually having any work to do, so we have to find something to occupy our time. And the spam filter keeps me from looking at porn :(

(But yeah, the whole bish thing gets really old. Can't there be one, new JRPG without a girlie-man hero?)
