I have seen a review of the guy and he looks interesting. I don't buy many movie figures, but I like to get the best of the line.

Does he compare well with the best movie toys thus far?

He and Hound are easily the best. Buy one and give it a shot.

I agree. He transforms from a pretty compact cab into a fully articulated, virtually kibbleless bot. I second giving him a shot. :)

I have points on Amazon, and am strongly debating it.

I just want to get some owners opinions. It obviously needs a better paint job, but it's an interesting figure. And that transformation looks good too.

    Easily.

Very well proportioned, great transformation, highly articulated. Just sweet.

I would wait for the the 2-pack Voyager Evolution pack from Toys R Us. It will have a better deco and face plated head. But compared to previous Optimus Prime Voyager class figures, the Battle blades mold is still the best. Right now I have the Takara deco of the Evasion mode Prime, and I would say it is alright.

I was going to wait but the chrome doesn't do it any favorites. I actually think this one looks better.

Have it and love it. Even when my first one broke I had to have another. Very fun figure.

I like the toy well enough. Do wish I had waited for one of the later releases for a better deco though.

I don't think there's chrome on the evolution pack. The evolution pack is with Classics OP and has a slightly more movie accurate colorscheme. The one with all the weird chrome is the two pack with Voyager Grimlock, I think.

Considering it was the first movie toy I ever purposefully bought, I think it's great.

Also on subject, this is one of the best in the line right now. Great figure with two great modes and excellent articulation and a fun transformation to boot. The only improvements it needs is a better paintjob and the faceplated head.

I don't buy hardly any movie figures either, but the reviews won me over and after having him for a while now I wholeheartedly agree, that this is a really good figure. Check him out.

Wow, that is saying a lot.

Also, I gotta look up the evasion pack. I don't need a classics prime, but if the deco is nicer, I may wait.

Just looked at that evolution pack, that is real nice, I may wait for that.

He's one of my favorite figures I own. I've transformed countless times. I almost never double dip on a figure, but I'll own 4 versions of this guy when it's all said and done.

Buy him. Now. Paint him up a bit, to your liking. You absolutely will not regret. I promise.

It is a neat figure i must say, but they should have given him the rusty look. Maybe for the kids?
