for background information: Devil Z - Transformers Wiki

I think what interest me, is that Devil Z thing was trying to merge humans and machine. We saw the "Creators" try to terraform Earth and the hand having some organic and machine merged into them. Maybe the reason they keep coming to Earth is because they want to create a new population of machines/robots out of humans on a world similar to Cybertron (a terraformed Earth)?

That would make for a cool way to introduce a pretty lesser known TF villain. Not to mention tying him to the creators is a nice way to adapt him from his anime origins.

Well, it wouldn't be the first time the films have used obscure villains, but then again, we haven't seen something this obscure since Orci and Kurtzman.

This makes sense.....explains the sudden appearance of headmasters perfectly, IS Anthony Hopkins such a perfect being? Is that what the knights represent and or aim to achieve....superior beinghood?

I think there is zero chance the writers are even aware of anything from Masterforce.

That being said, Devil Z would make a great addition to the roster of villains-behind-the-villains whose existence makes no sense within the larger movie continuity.

It would be a very interesting concept to put Devil Z in the movie, but I doubt Michael Bay knows anything about Masterforce since it's not really wide-known.

Keep in mind that Michael Bay does not write the scripts. It is the screenwriters who probably have done more research than Bay.

Can I just make an observation, that kind of ties with this theory of human and machine melding, in AOE lockdown killed Lucas, was that a transformium/seed type grenade? If so what if he could reappear as some form of reprogrammed transformium based version of himself?

I doubt that research extends to cartoons from 30 years ago that never aired in the US.
