I really love Dinosaur transformers, and am tempted to pretty much collect them only, but I'm not there yet. Basically, my question is, is he worth it? His beast mode looks good, but I can't help but think that his bot mode looks like crap. But what do you all think? Is he a worthwhile toy, or should I just hang onto my ten bucks and get Downshift when he finally shows up?

Downshift!!! I picked up a Brimstone 'cause he was in a BOGO pack with Thunderblast and now I wish I hadn't in many ways.....his damned legs refuse to stay on the ball joints if you touch him. Once I finally got them back in, I carefully placed him on my shelf and have yet to touch him again. I have just about all the current Cybertron stuff and I have to say that he's the worst of them all (and I also hate Thundercracker). His bot mode just looks strange and positioning him in either mode is quite difficult. So, again, I say, Downshift!!! One badass bot!

Downshift is better, but I really like Brimstone. That's saying something because I generally hate beast Transformers. Mine doesn't have any looseness problems and I really like his bot mode.

Based on personal experience, I'd say no. I had him and I was not impressed. As a matter of fact my puppy chewed his a$$ up and I really wasn't all that upset about it.....

hey, I like him and I hate beasts too. Hes fairly simplistic to transform, but he's got pretty good articulation, plus his trans scheme is a bit unique... my only complaint was his head being easy to spot in his beast mode. and I have no problems with him in any form... balljoints or whatever either.

Between the two I'd have to go with Downshift...but if you scrounge up enough cash get both...actually I think Brimstone's dino mode is the weaker of the two due to the dino head being HUGE...his robot mode is skinny, but he has one of the best head sculpts in the line, and he's very well articulated. I don't regret it in the least, in fact he's one of my fav Decepticons in Cybertron thus far.

I wasn't gonna get him but after watching Cybertron I changed my mind since he's Scourge's lackey and I have a weakness for show characters. I may get Undermine for the same reason.

I don't even have Downshift yet but I'd say get him instead if you have the option. Brimstone's a decent figure just not terribly exciting. I got him mostly for the name and cause he's in the show. I mean c'mon, that's got to be one of the coolest TF names ever.

!!! You got them in a BOGO pack? That's a good deal.

Anyway, Darkravager I would pick the Downshift first, but come back for the Brimstone later. I like the funky alt mode and the bot mode is very articulated.

Brimstone is a 3 of 5 in my book. If you like dinos, then yeah it's fine.

I've been looking at a lot of pics of him, and I think I may see about getting him. I've been dropping a ton of hints to people about stuff I want for my birthday, so maybe something will come of that.

He's fun to transform back and forth but as Grimlock_13 mentioned already, I also think the beast mode is the weaker. But not because of the huge head but because of the robot junk so clearly visible underneath. But regardless he still looks pretty nice in both modes IMO. He has very good articulation and his robot hands are wicked.
