if we take the novel adaptation into account, this was pretty much the intention, in where after Sam woke up, the Matrix became the new veasel for the Allspark

 

I thought AOE's plot was pretty straightforward. They even included like a 2 minute narration by Brains describing in detail that Galvatron was Megatron. I also reallly enjoyed Stanley Tucci's character, even in the beginning when he was supposed to be 'annoying'. The weakest parts of AOE had to be Shane and the Dinobots. The most confusing thing is that in the opening scene of the movie, you see aliens come down and blast a bunch of dinosaurs, and then you see metal dinosaurs being dug up by archeologists... but they turn out to be COMPLETELY unrelated to the dinosaur robots later in the film that had been so hyped up.

 

Me too. I really hope these Decepticons are the Decepticon Pathetic Dirty Foursome. The AOE Autobots were by far the best group of Autobots we have gotten to date, so it would be really cool if we can get a group of Decepticons that are similarly awesome, interesting, and fun.

Yeah, I thought it was really straightforward, too. The subplots were actually highly connected to each other. Since they wanted both factions eliminated, Lockdown and Cemetery Wind were hunting down the remaining Transformers on Earth and sending the remains to melt down and make their own Transformers all while Megatron secretly manipulates the humans and takes advantage of the situation for his own benefit.

Hopefully they're get the same guy back. If not, I think Avery Brooks would fit well. Be a nice little wink to Leonard Nimoy too!

Continuity errors and Transformers series have gone hand in hand since G1. It's nothing new.

Such as Bumblebee's voice...

I thought he did too, but other people have pointed out that we saw his optics get sniped and his leg(s) exploded, but we didn't actually see him DIE.

He probably crawled away off-screen or at least played dead till the enemy had moved on.

 

yeah I'm sure he crawled off somewhere, put himself back together and waited it out till he healed. If Screamer can get an arm ripped off (ROTF) and put it back on, I'm sure Barricade found a way to put his leg back on. At least enough so he could get away.

 

Movie could be bringing back resurrections like in RotF, could be a clone that Galvatron/Megatron created in Barricades old image or could be the same situation Megatron was in in AoE where he downloaded his conscience into a new body. If Barricade's head is still around it's a possibility since Megatron was nothing more than a half smashed up head in AoE.

 

I don't think Barricade is capable of doing what Megatron did in AOE, the guy literally knows how to build a transformer. He had the knowledge to create a new cybertronian.

 

All I saw was his foot blown off and his eyes shot at.

 

So Keith David or Jess Harnell or Frank Welker?

 

I was thinking that Galvatron/Megatron would probably want Decepticons who had more intelligence and individuality than the drones he had at the end of AoE and probably went looking for dead Decepticons to download their consciences into new bodies. Would open the door to other dead Decepticons returning too.

 

Bkackout? Shockwave? Soundwave?

 

Barricade is the man! His interrogation scene when he had Sam pinned up and calling him some numbers was one of the best scenes in transformers live action movies history. I want Barricade to go to work with his saw.
