Is anyone else just kind of "over" TF?

Same here. The last figure I bought brand-new was Classics Warpath & that was how many months ago? I walked into a local Kmart the other day & all the Bayverse shit currently flooding the aisles doesn't interest me in the slightest. Atleast this dry spell has given me a chance to catch-up on my eHobby collection... :lol

I'm definitely in a slower spot right now. Classics and the odd homage in the mainline are really the only things I go for these days. Though, I've been toying (ha) with the idea of recollecting all of the G2 and Beast Wars stuff. I have most of both somewhere but, moving as much as I have, it's in boxes in some no-name town and I don't feel like digging right now haha.

g1 reissues are sweet and i can keep adding them as long as they keep making new ones. i like em mint.

classics are pretty cool and ill add the characters im missing when they are released. they need to be good representations of their g1 selves or i wont bother. third party can fill in here for me.

ill add all the third party combiners made in the future to my classics collection a la hercules. im skipping bruticus and waiting for a better one however. a lot of third party stuff has me very interested to fill outmy classics line. hexatron, igear ironhide, ratchet and all their minibots for example.

my son has the complete animated line and hell probably get prime and wfc also.

i only have a few movieverse to add and im done.

beast wars is tempting. if they reissued them at retail id be all over it.

I imagine we'll see a lot of people drop out of the scene now, mostly but not exclusively because of the hype surrounding the Bayformers movies. Whenever any fandom is artificially inflated you eventually see it drop to a little above it's original groupies. Same thing happened with Star Wars in the late nineties, and I imagine the hardcore unicorn-loving Thundercats fans are saying the same thing these days.

Myself, I've been here since 1984, I think this shit is in my DNA.

Even though the movies are what brought me into this fantastic franchise and even though they're finished, I ain't going nowhere. I love the cartoons, the comics, and the toys too much to ever consider leaving. Even when I'm fifty, I will still be a part of this franchise. I'm here to stay, till all are one.

Sick of Bayformers. All the stores near me have the same toys warming the shelves, and I just want them all to go away. No, I don't need another Bumblebee-- I bought a Bumblebee for the last movie. The stores in my area haven't gotten the rather interesting DotM toys in (like Laserbeak, for example).

Also, thinking about thinning out some of my Bayformers. I always keep Dirge in the back of the shelf because he's fugly as hell. :lol

But other than that? Nah. I like my plastic crack.

No. More in love now than I was before. The movie toys are what did it. Leader Class Optimus and Sentinel signed, sealed and delivered my love for good.

Meh....I'm in the minority. I want absolutely nothing to do with TFP crap, loved the movie stuff, generations got real stale, real fast. So with the movies done, I see myself not having anything to buy.

I´m getting rid if anything that is not classics, animated or movies. Anything else seems bland and boring to me now. From G1, to Cybertron and so on, all looks craptastic in comparison with the new toys.

Yes. All I care about now is reading #81.

    Collecting really is dumb.

Nope. Doubt I will be. This period just counts as a lull, and allows me to go hunt on eBay for older pieces I wouldn't usually have the money for.

No, not really. The only Transformers-related thing I'm tired of right now is the movie franchise. I'm looking forward to more Prime/WFC2/Exiles/James Roberts IDW action.

The movie style isn't my thing. Not even animated or prime. But I've bought some of the figures and caught up with the older stuff.

I honestly think people should spend a time her in Portugal, where we don´t get almost anything besides movies and the VERY occasional non movie figure. You guys are spoiled. Spend some time here and after a time nearly everything looks good to you. :p
