((Lock this if it's been said before but...))

The fact that most of season 3 EVERY Decepticon/Villan one-shots have gotten away?

    - Lockdown (NOT A CON, it's a big deal guys!)
    - Swindle (Agreed, loosely associated)
    - Blackarachnia/Waspinator (Predacons)
    - Soundwave, Laserbeak and Ratbat

I mean, this being the last season they couldn't kill someone off or capture them? It's getting repetitive...

Note: Constructions as well, even though Scrapper came back in Human Error Part 2

Dude, who cares? Possible season four episodes, if it's green lit.

Maybe some of them will be back for the finale? Perhaps?

Retreating is what Decepticons do best.

    And Lockdown's not a 'con.

Dude, Lockdown isn't a con (he's packaged as one, but there are only two options for packaging and Lockdown obviously isn't a good guy), Swindle is loosely associated with the Con's like Lockdown (again, see explination as to why his toy carries con symbols), BA and Waspy got sent FAR away from Detrot or back in time, and Soundwave is like Sigma from the Megaman X games, you always kick his ass at the end, but he always comes back (well, except in X8, but that was the last real X game anyways following the normal Megaman system). Also, Ravage isn't in Animated, do you mean Ratbat?

Ratbat (who I assume you meant instead of Ravage) was beaten to death... Only Lazerbeak and Soundwave (reduced to an MP3 player) got away.

As has been said, Lockdown isn't technically a Decepticon, and Swindle is only affiliated with the faction loosely. (Given the way he talks about Megatron, I'd say he wears the Decepticon symbol simply because Megs is "his best customer". You know what they say: 'The customer is always right, and the customer that pays the most is the rightest one of all.' :lol  )

Blackarachnia and Waspinator are definitely only Decepticons by default, and are better called Predacons. Besides, they didn't really "get away" so much as get blown away... to the Beast Wars... >_>

Really, the only true Decepticons still at large (that we've seen) are Megatron (& Starscream's head), Lugnut, Thundercracker & Skywarp, Femscream/"Slipstream"/Susan, Shockwave, and Team Charr.

Megatron, Starscream's head, and Lugnut are in Omega Supreme somewhere out in space.

Thundercracker & Skywarp are together (also somewhere in space).

Team Charr are on their ship (again, somewhere in space).

Shockwave is presumably still in hiding somewhere on Cybertron.

The only truly unaccounted for Decepticon is Femscream/"Slipstream"/Susan... We've seen NOTHING of her this entire season.

    *smacks self*

Wow, I should of re-phrased that intro

Well if they come back in the finale that would kick ass. Even better if we got S4.

Strangely, I was happy too. A happy and fit ending for Swindle if he doesn't make a comeback.

I am not getting annoyed by this. I do not think this constitutes poor storytelling.

The TF:A universe takes place where a war existed millions of years ago, and the war will probably continue for millions of years after the series finale. We might never see the adventures of this cast, but somewhere out there is a fictional universe where Soundwave, Swindle, Waspinator, etc live to fight another day.

I REEEEEEEALLY hope that these adventures will take place in a possible season 4, or in a comic book series.

I actually think TF:A has just the right amount of story. Season 1 had a clear beginning and end with the destruction and then resurrection of Megatron. Season 2 had a clear beginning and end with the Starscream clone and Omega Supreme plot line. I'm sure Season 3 will wrap up many current outstanding plot points (my guess is that Shockwave is the biggest "boss" of this season), and many other outstanding plot points will still exist.
