ive been contemplatin a little bit on gettin it, along with swoop and snarl so i get the dinobots of animated
but im not sure...
is it worth it?

 

I think they are and I own all three of the Animated Dinobots. Snarl/Slag is the weakest of the 3 toy wise but even like him.

 

I have all three and they are fun.

I find Grimlock to be the weakest of the tree because there is no panel under his dino-mode neck. Otherwise its a really fun toy.

 

Grimlock might be the closest to his G1 counterpart. If you loved the G1, you'll love the voyager animated. Personally, one of my favorite Voyager toys in the past several years.

 

Every Animated toy is worth getting, except Cybertron Megatron.

 

I don't have Swoop yet, but I'm loving Grimlock and Slag/Snarl. Snarl is a bit loose in certain areas, but he's a nice looking fig overall.

 

Animated Grimlock is a must have if you are a fan of Grimlock in general. Up until MP Grimlock, he was the better compared to Classics Grimlock.

 

I regret not getting him everytime I saw him. Get him, and if you can, get the rest of the Dinobots.

I'm on the lookout for him myself,especially when TRU is selling him for $12.97.I had him in my hand last week,but the shelf tag said $22.99 so I didn't get him.Then a couple days later I find out that the price is really $12.97,but by the time I got back to TRU he was gone.

 

hell yes! Just got him last week at TRU for 13.

 

He's a really fun figure.

a definate yes to the 2 deluxe sized animated dinobots of slag & swoop. swoop is the best pteraldacty/dinosaur bird/bot deluxe thus far. animated slag looks like the bwneo triceratops done up in the animated toy treatment.

In my personal opinion animated grimlock is a better toy than the classics 1.0 deluxe sized grimlock. animated grimlock has more persona in the design & the added weapons that add to his beastial persona.

I'm still waiting for that Beastwars Megatron repaint using the animated Voyager grimlock mold. with a new BW Megatron robot head.

 

Ani Grimlock's chompy jaw is worth everything.

they're pretty fun toys, for the £10 that TRU have him he's well worth it. If you find yourself wanting Swoop and Snarl I have them in my sales thread

 

He is definately one of my favorite Animated molds. My only real gripe is that I wish the sword could be stored (like in that big gap where his robot mode hides in dino mode). That being said, I still think Swoop is a bit better myself.

This here is something worth keeping in mind when you look for him. I know that my TRU's still cleaning things up out back, and they're kind of coughing out the last of their older TFA releases to do so. In the past week alone, I've spotted Optimus Prime, Blitzwing, Shockwave, and Grimlock alone; figures that were annoyingly hard to find when their respective waves first came out.

 

This man speaks the truth. Although I don't have every animated figure , yet ¬¬

I only own grimlock out of the 3 dinobots, but I say get him. Glad I got him when he was on sale. Never seen snarl here.

 

His arms in bot mode are kind of strange, but overall he is well worth the price. Love this figu.
