    just today i was looking to pick up an altenator seeing as i dont own one and i won a $17.50 optimus prime on ebay. is he worth it? is there any flaws i shold know about?

    edit: also does anyone have some comparison shots with common figures my shelf is kinda tight for space and i need to know how much room i need. thnx

    oh thats a great price imo.Alt prime is a great alternator. yeah he has the knee issue and his gun for a prime is pretty small other than that he is pure win

    It's a matter of taste. The price is good but I dislike that mold (as Optimus).

    It's optimus Prime. Plus, he turns into a Dodge truck. Of course it's worth it!

    Too much work to bust out my camera and upload and insert, but he's bigger than an average Voyager (especially as of late). If you have or know the size of Movie Ironhide, Prime will be a tiny bit thicker and about two inches longer in alt mode. Same as bot mode; about the same thickness but a tad taller, depending on how you arrange the shoulder kibble.

    He is a good solid toy. You really couldn't have picked a better figure to start your Alternator experience with. Some Alts are mind-shatteringly complex, but OP is fairly simple, but still cool enough to be a fun transformation. His articulation in the knees is a little limited, so he can only stand and stand 'slightly epically', but he's a great figure. I hope you enjoy him!

    I picked him up even with the shoulders comments people were talking about, and I havent regretted it.
