I'm wondering why Ironhide was not in the chase scene. Did they kill him off early in the movie or what? even Ratchet is even in the chase. That's odd, taken to the fact that he's the most trigger happy one.
he was spotted on set, along te twisn wh oare not i nteh chase, so they are mayeb somewehre esel i nchicago searchnig for other cons
Perhaps he is going to cut them off at the pass type thing. It would be stupid for them all to chase them.
He's probably just not in that shot of the film. A little unclear in your first post until eagc7 elaborated.
eagc7. Not to be a dick but I can barely read what you wrote. Lets not forget that these are robots to transform into cars. If it were just cars fighting it'd be a lot less entertaining. I'm thinking Ironhide is in robot mode for the chase. Like ambushing the Nascars and blowing one up like someone noted seeing in a video of filming.
OR all that damage done to the street was done by robot mode trigger happy Ironhide and that's another reason for the humans to be a little unhappy with the autobots?
On Saturday and Sunday, it did seem that Ironhide and The Twins were just sitting around doing nothing. The brunt of the chase was with the other vehicles. Unless they just held them aside as a secondary shoot in case they had to do something else. I seriously doubt we'd get Optimus' weapons specialist nixed in this film.
Ironhide's not taking part in the chase, he got orders from Prime to take the Twins out back and offline them.
well as sure as hell hope he doesn't die saving them no looking at the street Ironhide got a little "carried away"...in robot mode
Is this Chicago scene supposed to be like the LA battle, the final battle? If so...maybe he bites the dust unfortunately. If he does, he better go out like a hero.
I think this is a final battle scene. Shia walked by the crowd I was in on Sunday, and he had a red gash on his forehead. From the experience regarding the films, human 'battle-damage' doesn't happen until late in the film with Sam.
If thats the case i hope he goes hell for leather and goes on a rampage taking a few out along the way.. R.I.P IRONHIDE.......................
Well better them than Lassie. Just because their not in a certain scene doesn't mean they died already. Usually the split into groups.
it does seem like he's gonna be killed off unfortunatly. in all the clips from filming in chicago the ironhide truck didnt do anything except sit next to the curb and get stalked by fans while the others were drivin around and being filmed.
The GMC 4500 series "pickup" and the Hummer are no longer in production. GM is supplying lots of free cars/trucks/SUV's. Of course GM wants the vehicles on the movie screen to be those the audience can walk out of the theater and purchase. Lots of Camero, corvette, volt, twins air time and etc. What ever the 2012 line up is, it will be used in the movie.
