Wonder if they would make a Fortmax bigger than their Bruticus or keep him at a size closer to LordScorp. Either way they're going to run in to some scaling inconsistency with their line overall.

Kinda want them to stick to the LS scale for base bots though so they can be a sort of set in to themselves. Max, Tryp, Omega and Metro all as chunky deluxes would just be the best.

 

I wish there were a decent size chart. G1 had most bots at the combiners knees/thighs, which seems accurate for IF's combiner. That means the city bots would be slightly larger, in general.

That's kinda my point though is LordScorp is as awesome and fun as he is cause he's a deluxe and I don't really want to see IF become just another maker of ultras n bigger stuff with any future city bots they do. Both Scorp and Overlord are technically not at all in scale with the rest of their figures so I think its pretty clear they aren't too fussed about being consistent in that sense.

So I for one don't mind that their combiners will presumably all tower over their city bots if they continue to do more of both. Easy enough to just consider them sub lines within IF's overall product line up.

 

Well.... Scorponok scales fine so long as you accept him as Marvel or IDW Scorponok. Actually I'm looking at my box for him and it even says "Comic ver." That could be their way to avoid HUGE figures for this line. I'm fine with that. Bring on Fort Max.

However, I'd still like Mech Fans Toys or someone to make a leader sized KO one for my TR Decepticons.

 

Huh, you've made me realize if they do do Max then they'll probably go with the IDW tread pack tank design then. That would be super neat to see. Warden but fun to transform!  

 

Yeah, I figured if IF every did make Fort Max he'd be IDW's design. IMO TR works with most IF figures display wise if you want the more Traditional scale.

 

Please no.. I don't want to be tempted into buying a bunch of IF Citybots. I had Scorponok on preorder but changed my mind.

I'm already struggling with the idea of wanting all of the Combiners in legends scale.

I do like the MasterMade Citybots also, and had to resist their charms.

 

Recently picked this guy up and he's really cool. I'm still REALLY hoping someone makes a Scorponok that scales with Infinitor. I'll even take a Metroplex and Tripticon in the same scale, heck Unicron while we're talking about it.

He's cool (I have him) but he may as well be a non-transforming action figure. His vehicle mode sucks and the head mode doesn't have much practical use.

 

I really don't understand why nobody has made an adapter for attaching Warden as the head of Titans Return Fortress Maximus...

 

He wouldn't fit, the adapter would have to lift the head up to clear his shoulders and by the time you are done fort max would look pretty ridiculous.
