Just got mine that I ordered from ebay, took about 2 weeks to arrive from China. What an amazing little bot.

I do have an issue in that the translucent piece that goes under the left foot is missing. Looked all over the box and the area where I opened it and found nothing. Not sure if I wanna go through the hassle of filing a case through ebay over it.

little smallish but i couldnt pass this guy up at $52 via the ebay flash sale last night.  
i wonder if IF will be the first to make skorps AND fort max so they can face off....

Tempted to get Infinitor for this too ... but really would like IF to make one to match >_>

The little orange flip-out face cover is a nice touch and all, but I like using the helmet as a cockpit more:

 

I need more Scorponoks in my life. Kinda funny we went from one extreme to the next size wise instead of getting a more normal sized figure haha.

 

The little round piece allows him to hold 5mm pegged weapons in his hand.

In scorpion mode, you can have him sit in the head cavity like its a cockpit.

Just open up the top of the head. He can then sit down with his legs at 90deg. You can keep the visor in or out for this mode.

Here is a post where you can see that in action along with pics of him from the comics... he's fairly well in scale for the comics, which is what IF's designs are from.


Also.. might want to double check your base mode against the instructions, the back of the box, and images on page 1 of this thread. Legs should be flush against the ground.

 

- I see what you mean by the helmet seating.. I wish it was flush and the helmet could actually close...

- Mentioned the comic-accurate scaling in the written review.

- Thank you for the tip about the legs in citybot mode. It's what I get for going by the instructions and not looking at pictures, as what's in my pics are accurate to the instructions, but not the pictures. I like that look better though, so I think I'm going to update the pics with that instead. It makes so much more sense.

 

That's what's neat about this guy though you can arrange his base mode a few different ways just like Pandinus.
