Pics make this guy look awesome. Wish he transformed and I'd be all over it.

Will have to admire from afar unfortunately...

Thank you! I'll have my eyes glued to this thread once something other than a wheel/tire shows up.

Can you elaborate on fragile and wonky? What issues does your figure have?

It’s light as a feather, very thin brittle plastic
If you dropped it on the ground it would easily break into a lot of pieces. Very delicate

Love the setup with Prime patting tiny little Bulkhead on his noggin, lol.

I am going to look into some posable hands. I have purchased some from Shapeways for models smaller than this with excellent, if not perfect, results. Are the hands ball-and-socket on this guy? Hard for me to see from the pix of the hand options baggies shown so far.

Also, not to complain, but... is it just me or is there something a tiny bit off with his eyebrows?

The hands are just on pegs. I've never actually held a 3d printed piece in-hand. Do the hands you got off shapeways require further finishing to get rid of the printed texture?

You're absolutely right about the eyebrows. I think they're a bit too big and it throws off the eye:eyebrow ratio.

Well that is certainly disappointing to hear. Do you feel like you got your money's worth?

They're everything wrong with his face. They're too thin and pointy. I tried to tell him but I guess it was too late.

There was the pieces you can see in the first pic floating around the box (which all just popped back into place), and like other people have said the plastic and the glue and joints holding them together aren't the strongest, but as long as you don't treat him like a caveman he should be fine.

I wouldn't call the plastic very brittle, but again do be careful with it.

Yeah, some poseable hands would be great; the moulded ones look good and work with the stuff in the box, but they do feel limited esp. when you try to stuff out of the box.

Yes and No. He definitely meet my expectations in terms of size and looks and show accuracy (tho milage may vary on the face thing, I don't have that much issue but it seems to be one for others), and after the first few reviews I knew to expect a slightly delicate figure. The only that makes me hold back from saying yes is the fact that it doesn't really feel it's price with the fragileness, and also it's as much as a transformable figure, and personally I really wish it has that feature.

Tl;dr, it's a great looking figure and if you know what you're gonna get then it's worth it, but if the face and delicateness are big turn offs for you then the price prob isn't worth it

See sig link. If he's got ball joint hands 1/100 Gundam hands could work. Depends on how they connect. My example is a Siege with sideswipe hands but ideas are for sharing.:D

Mine just arrived today too. Similar QC issues as most people... picking the main figure out of the box the helm crest and battle mask had fallen off (battle mask easily fixed), the barrel of right gun (also easy fix), right smokestack (easy fix), but also the shoulders had popped off. Right now they're sitting beside the figure until I figure out how to put them back on. Crest on the head with no mask was floating around in the tray. Attempting to put the left window on the black tab broke off. (I can see that my super glue skills are going to be put to good use.)

On the plus side, I don't see any bad paint apps

Editing: figured out how the shoulders are attached. Needed to use my craft knife to clean out the glue and shave a few mms of plastic off. Mostly it just tabs in with a small black piece.

Now have to use the craft knife to fix all the glue residue where the black piece for the left shoulder window goes so I can glue it back on.

Sheesh... might as well have sold this as a Gundam kit...

Yeah! I'm not sure why they decided to break away from that, but it was definitely a mistake.

I've never really been into Gundams or models. But I have enough experience customizing a few Transformers, I know mostly what I'm doing to fix this guy. I shudder to think someone who has no idea would do if it arrived the way mine did and no experience.

Next update... I've cleaned up the chest area enough that I can glue the black bit back into place. Now for helm crests and the left gun barrel

I had to cancel my preorder due to lack of expendable income at the moment. I'm kinda hoping he'll go on sale, I still want him.

I hope someone makes some sweet faction symbols for this line. In the toon the symbols were somewhat 3D, which would be a great look for these figs. An even deeper hope would be if they were removable/swap-able for some characters like Optimus and Knockout, as they both were members of 'bots and 'cons at some point.
