No unfortunately no update as of yet. Just someone who is sceptical if all of the main cast will be made. Not due to funds or enough interest in the figures themselves, more of a technical question.

Prime as a show was a CG show which means the designs benefited from their 3d environment. The designs in Prime cannot be a 100% accurately made like they did with the Iron warrior. Optimus his designs is one of the few that is able to be replicated in a real figure. However for other characters I wouldn’t count on 100% accuracy. For example. My favourite character from Prime is Ratchet, however if you think about transferring a cg model to an action figure think again. The show heavily had something which is called clipping. Meaning the phasing of one object through another. Ratchet has two massive shoulderpads which are overhanging his body. Making a wide range of motion very difficult to pull off. As in the show they pivoted the shoulder pads a certain way when he lifted his arms up or had to check his wrist to ensure the shoulderpad didn’t clip. Unfortunately there are still instances where this happens in the show (see screenshots) Showing us that its actually not possible to have a wide range of motion with those massive shoulderpads in the way. A solution would be to cut the shoulderpads in half and have them not overhanging his main body, but that would make it less accurate. Look at the Yolopark kits like Cheetor, Rhinox and Primal and how they do shoulder pads, notice something? They are always detached from the body meaning that they won’t bump into the main body of the figure. So if you were hoping for a show accurate breakdown or Bulkhead, watch the show again and look how its impossible to pull of their range of motion with everything they have going on. Their latest reveal which is Bumblebee, has also been adjusted to accommodate for a wider range of motion. Looking at the show the arms are closer to the body, and there are spikes from the arms which clip inside the main body. Those spikes have been cut short, and the arms are further away from the body as well

But a silver lining, there are already prototypes for Megs, Knockout, Ultra magnus. We will just have to see what Iron warrior does with the other figures.

I mean, kinda easy to engineer around that. For the hips clipping just have drop down joints like Threezero, and for the elbows give ‘em a double joint that’s further inside. Shoulder pads wise, either have them connect to the collar area or have them connect on a moving ring with the shoulder.

Altough I see what you're saying, do you have some example pictures? with other figures with massive shoulderpads?

R.E.D. TFP Optimus handled the shoudler pads in a similar manner with the "ring".

Fe bulkhead handles the shoulders fine.

Clipping can be solved by just adding more articulation to certain armor pieces it's not that complicated

Holy hell, I forgot abou that...
Well, it's evident whatever project they've been working on at that time has been scrapped and has had to have been restarted. Since their "reboot" launch of DLX Iron Warrior, and teaser of TFP Bee. I don't think we'll be seeing Megs for another year and a half...and that's at best.

Hey! I followed your lead on an older thread and I've had someone reach out to the designer for an update. I followed their Weibo but couldn't find anything aside from "soon". My biggest worry is that its taking them so long to come out with Bee or Megatron, I can't imagine the rest of the line! I'll be either dead or in a retirement home.

    I'm right there with you.

I bought their OP the first time around, hoping there'd be a Megatron to go with it. I'm not getting suckered into it again. I'd rather pay late tax than end up with another lone TFP Optimus.
