Finally came in today from Showz. What a beauty of a figure. Feels like an official DLX figure if I didn't know any better. No issues all around and articulation is great across the board. Great metallic paintjob as well.

Quick out of the box desk shot for now. Haven't even taken everything out of the box yet like his arm blade and guns. Will fiddle with him properly tomorrow when I have time. I really hope they go all out with this line. Happy to see Bumblebee but I also hope they go beyond just these two. Kind of sick of seeing only Prime and Bee being done.

I’m confident that they’ll continue to go beyond them, just need to start out with the big 2 Autobots.

Mine just showed up from showz. Incredible. Hands down my favorite Prime in my collection now. 100% in on any future TFP characters Iron warrior puts out. Thinking about getting a second one to have a copy go with my DLX primes and one to go with future TFP characters this company puts out.

I had a similar thought LOL. If you want to build a future roster off that prime, Fe/APC/RED arcee, APC airachnid and the humans from the fe prime vs Megatron (I think the nycc bumblebee arcee came with repaints and APC non-dead Cliffjumper had kos of the original too) scale well with him

where are you seeing that they’re doing Bumblebee?

also, that’s beautiful. Still on the fence on this guy. He’s great- but maybe I’m perfectly content with my FE version? Can’t decide.

Okay so I was looking for Optimus figures online and found out this lunch box has a hard image of Optimus on it. IMG_7327.jpeg
Why is this relevant to the thread? Well it's simple, I tried recreating the pose with IW-07 and realized maybe it's cheating a bit.
    IMG_7547.jpeg
    TFP cheating? Unthinkable!
And why is THAT worth posting? Because @octobotimus was right - the lack of any revealing back detail is a bit disappointing!
    IMG_7550.jpeg

But even then I still can't be mad because the figure's awesome and I don't think I'll have him posed any way similar to this again outside of this little recreation. Lol

IW-07 Optimus is with out a doubt my favorite MP style Optimus in my entire collection and I own most every MP prime on the market. The fact that he does not transform does not bother me in the least. I dont show any other transformer in alt mode so no big deal. I dare to say he is better than anything FansToys has put out and I'm a FT fanboy.

Agreed. Even if he's not as sturdy as other MPs or DLX offerings, he's a goddamned beaut.
To me a "masterpiece" doesn't need to transform, just capture the essences of the characters perfectly, and be well articulated. IMG_7069.jpeg
Which he fills all the checks!

And here I am waiting on their Megatron offering, once it gets out of the prototype stage.

I've decided I'm passing on Prime and co. simply due to the fact I don't have the space for them, but if they announce a Soundwave, then I'll have to plan a funeral for my wallet while I determine where to put him.

Mine arrived today and I'm pretty impressed. I've mentioned several times that I was hesitant to pursue the new line after they abandoned the first line and after the quality issues of the first version. This guy actually feels like a nice solid action figure - the previous version felt almost like papercraft in some parts. I like the bigger size - the old version was roughly MP scale while this guy is right around Threezero scale (which is also pretty close to MP-01 and MPP-10 scale if you're into either of those).

Not sure how well it's been documented but it's actually not too hard to pull the sword handles out so you can switch the grabbing hand to the metal sword or hang the blue one on his back. You have to really pull and kinda wobble them loose but they weren't glued (or, if they were, it came loose pretty easily).

I'm stubbornly staying angry at Iron Warrior but I think I'm in for the rest of the line.
