These Chinese companies will never admit to that openly even if it's well known. It's like how everyone knows Weijiang used to be Hasbro's subcontractor under a different name. But if you follow the "lore" so far
    • Machine Boy spun off FCT for their original Astrotrain/Transportation Captain
    • MFT's first few KOs were a continuation of Machine Boy's CW Legends OSKOs
    • MFT and Mech Planet/Hot Soldiers use similar packaging, are sharing the same legends scale and constantly repost each other on Weibo (when the latter was still active)
    • MFT's Springer and Omega Supreme are modified from Machine Boy's unreleased designs.
    • Hot Soldiers Goldbug came with Transportation Captain's Tiny Satelite
    • MFT's exact same molds are reused under Chao Bao and Bao Hai Xing for 3C physical releases, but these companies use Machine Boy's logo for their online promo material.
*note: the above might be a work of fiction

And yet nobody wants to dupe IF's Cybertronian Datsun bros...

Since IF doesnt reissue, our only hope is PocketToys. They've already copied War Giant and Bridgewatcher

Maybe to you, but I love seeing stuff like this, since there is so much bad information out there.

They broke away from MechPlanet. Not Mech Fans Toys. I know it can be a little confusing with the similar name structures.

MFT helped finish production on HS Sky Pillar [Prime] and helped distribute it out to markets. We haven’t seen a release since then, but we knew Prowl wasn’t cancelled.

All things means all things. The photography style, the graphic design work, the paint applications.

i didn't know this wasn't common knowledge. we have talked about it plenty of times here on the board. especially when with the MFT omega and the rumored astrotrain and how hopefully it will be the machine boy version. but either way i am glad you picked up a little bit of info today.

see MFT was always their factory and a lot of other 3rd party companies. but i thought that is who they split with. but either way i think it is a strange way of doing business. but then again it is china and over there down is up and left is right...so go figure

    Guys, I only need 3.
I'm happy to have different molds for the 3 dudes, and an extra for Blue Bluestreak cause that's a cool deco. OK, 4.

NA is still the best Fairlady car mode by far. FAR. But I'll get one for a really great robot mode too, even though I am mostly in it for the cars.

That detail always confused me. I thought HS and Mech Planet were sinonimous. So what, HS are a design team and they split from Mech Planet? What are the specifics?

Hot diggidy damn. Why are these so good? I want all four, but I'm assuming that would be rather costly. I can't decide whose looks best. I'm probably just gonna get blue bluestreak though. Save my wallet from another thinning.

HS or IT should be reasonably priced. these are the more moderately priced bots on the market.

Come on, there actually haven't been that many Datsun Bros Legends.

There were the horribly cheap, KO quality ones from a company no one remembers

    The IF Cybertronian ones

New Age, Hot Soldiers, Iron Trans

The only released ones are the crappers, IF, and NA

NA's make me happy so I see no need to mess with any other Legends Datsuns, ever
